Gun-toting Grandma Shoots Man Exposing Himself to Children
Editor's Note: On this day in 2018...
My favorite "good guy with a gun" stories are always the ones that involve a gun-toting grandma (see This Gun Totin’ Grandma has a Warning to Her Home Invader and YES! Gun-Toting Grandma Opens Fire on Home Intruders). Of those stories, I think Granny Jean is my favorite.
Anyone who knows a grandma knows how protective they are of their grandkids. Like, say, when you expose yourself in front of them.
The sign outside Granny Jean's home on Cherrydale says "Save the drama for your mamma."By phone, the 68-year-old grandmother told Eyewitness News the drama showed up at her house late Tuesday afternoon, and he was riding a bike.
"Some guy pulled off his pants and pulled his pants open, playing with his thing, and he ran up and I told him to get away from my door, or I will shoot him," Jean said.
One shot, and she didn't miss. The man was struck in the chest by a bullet.
This calls for a special musical dedication.
The pervert is going to live. Cops knew who he was. Running about town in the buff was a favorite pastime of the willy-waving wanker. Little did he know, there was a bullet with his name on it. Granny Jean was keeping it safe. "Is that a gun, or are you really hoping to lose your favorite pull toy?"
Cheers to you, Granny Jean. May they give you a standing ovation at Bingo and prayer group this weekend. Your net early bird special dinner is on me.
