Here's a story that needs little introduction. It brings with it nothing but joy. A dude with a giant knife decided to rob a clerk in a supermarket, where a gun owner happened to be waiting in line.

Yeah, he picked the wrong supermarket to rob...

Clean up on aisle this guy. Because he definitely just peed his pants.

If you're a LwC regular, you know we love "good guy with a gun" stories. You've likely also noticed there's no shortage of them. Here's a few favorites just in the past few months...

These are just a few for starters. Notice something in common here? The people exercising their Second Amendment rights are still vertical. The criminals? They've assumed the savasana position. That's yoga-speak for "dead." A little hippy lingo for you.

Guns, unlike knives (in this case), are effective when it comes to self-defense. A bystander with a concealed carry was able to protect an entire store full of people from a knife-wielding loony. And did you see that knife? Crocodile Dundee approves. However...

There's a multitude of stories like this. Yet a deafening lack of coverage. Mainstream media is quick to blame guns for things that go amiss, even when guns clearly aren't the problem (see Antioch 'Shooter' Used Hatchet. Shot Dead by Gun. Liberals Blame Guns...). Oopsie. But when gun owners save the day? Crickets.

Stories like this blatantly illustrate the potential guns have as an equalizer and reliable tool in dangerous situations. Because this bystander was packing heat, nobody got hurt. But when it comes to the leftist narrative, this story just doesn't quite fit. Like Tess Holliday in a girdle. I threw up a little.

Americans love their guns for all the perks listed above. Also because we have rights to them. Liberals hate guns because guns are mean, scary boo-boo sticks with a mind of their own... And we have rights to them...
