Green New Deal Architect: Climate Change is 25 Holocausts
A good rule of thumb: never compare anything to the Holocaust. Nothing is like the Holocaust. Ever. Well, maybe except abortion. Keep the genocide comparisons to actual genocide. Anyway, leave it to an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ally to compare something not even close to the Holocaust to 25 Holocausts. Yes, that's twenty-four more than just the one Holocaust. So sayeth Rhiana Gunn-Wright, an architect of the Green New Deal (see WATCH: Beto O’Rourke Compares Sacrifice of the Green New Deal to WWII and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Throws a Tantrum Because People Aren’t Taking Her Green New Deal Seriously).
You see, when you add up all the deaths after climate change totally kills us all...
“So in the issues that you just brought up, climate change is one of the main drivers of our public health. So the difference between, say, 1.5 degrees of warming — which is the least that folks think that we can get — to 2, you are talking about 150 million deaths,” Gunn-Wright said. “That’s 25 Holocausts, right? So how is that not a health issue? How is that not about health care?”
Also, climate change will lead to, quote, "hundreds and millions of climate refugees." That's the thing they're trying to make happen.
Set the "settled science" bull crap pile aside for a moment. There are tons of other posts about that on this website. Like this one: MYTH BUSTED: Climate Change 'Consensus of Scientists' Is Idiotic. The main reason so many people don't take climate change as seriously as leftists think we should is because of how blatantly dishonest they are. Both in their arguments and their non-arguments. People see through their written and verbal caca because it's as transparent as the Emperor's New Clothes. They also see through the people who want us to act like the world is totally going to end soon, don't act like that themselves. It's always about other people changing their lifestyles. Other people bearing the costs. Meanwhile, AOC takes super swanky Ubers and still flies on those jet contraption thingies. But you should take the bus. Yeah, I'll get right on that, sweet cheeks.
And I'm sorry, claiming anything is like 25 holocausts on the anniversary of D-Day? C'mon son.
