OF COURSE: Beyoncé Loses Grammy Awards. Whiny Liberals Cry 'RACISM!'
Beyoncé, who's made millions of dollars in her musical career, lost album of the year (among others) at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Which also means she was nominated for the award, but that doesn't matter. She lost. Ergo everyone who makes up the Grammy voters are exercising shameless raaaaaaaaacism!
Having long faced accusations that the Grammys overlook young, progressive black artists — the last black woman to win album of the year was Lauryn Hill in 1999 — the Recording Academy faced a potential backlash for going all-in on a white, traditionalist choice like Adele.
“More and more artists are going to boycott and step away,” Laura Stylez, a co-host of “Ebro in the Morning” on the New York hip-hop and R&B station Hot 97, said in an interview, citing the absence of Drake, Frank Ocean, Justin Bieber and Kanye West from this year’s show, despite their major eligible releases and nominations. “You don’t want to lose today’s generation. They feel like they’re not represented.”
Charlamagne Tha God, an influential radio personality from “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1, named Grammy voters his “Donkey of the Day” for their album of the year selection. “I tell artists all the time: Go where you’re celebrated, not where you’re tolerated,” he said, adding that Beyoncé had been “robbed.”
Much like #OscarsSoWhite (see Lena Dunham Cries #OscarsSoWhite, But There’s a Problem and Super White Meryl Streep on Oscar Controversy), I need to point out most people who vote for the Grammy's prefer MSNBC to Fox News and probably have a pink hat with cat ears in their closet. They're probably not meeting their friends at the gun range, either. Unless it's to protest guns. So, leftists, go heal thy selves. It was your own peeps who denied Queen Bey an additional crown.
Here's something to consider when doling out awards... it takes at least five people and a slew of producers to create Beyoncé. She is a brand. Also a little slutty. Let's just say she's not exactly sitting in her living room with piano or guitar writing "smack it in the air," into her latest crooner. When I type "crooner" I mean that noise of "7/11." World's most irritating "song."
Adele? Usually, it's her and one song writer. The Grammy voters - again, most of whom are leftists - still appreciate musicianship over marketing.
And let's be honest, Beyoncé is less popular because of her music as much as she is popular over how woke it makes white liberals feel to say they love Beyoncé.
I mean really, BuzzFeed. Get a hold of yourself.

She's overrated. If Beyoncé wants to win more Grammys she needs to focus her attention not on making political statements, but quality music. Her "music" at this point is just noise. I guess it helps when she dances around more than halfway naked shaking her "bootylicious" gluteous maximus. Her word. But I guess now we're supposed to call it "edgy." No.
So no, not racist that she lost.
To be fair though, there have been worse meltdowns after a loss...
