Gosnell Movie About Abortion Doctor Scores a Distribution Deal

Brodigan
June 27, 2018

The Gosnell movie has scored a distribution deal! It's also a who's who of some of our favorites. Directed by Nick Searcy. Starring Dean Cain. And produced by Anne McElhinney and Phelim McAleer. Who should be referred to by their proper pronouns, "herself" and "himself."

The film, made in 2014, is based on a grand jury report that accuses Gosnell of gruesome activities, like killing "hundreds" of "newborns" by sticking scissors into their necks. The filmmakers, though, are hoping to avoid an R-rating.

The movie, directed by Nick Searcy, also explores how Gosnell got away with a crime spree that allegedly lasted for many years because bureaucrats and reporters were uninterested in investigating claims made against the doctor.

Gosnell’s trial also became a national talking point when photos of an empty press gallery began to circulate, and the filmmakers explored this phenomenon as well.

Let this also be a lesson to anyone on the right who whines about conservatives not being able to make movies, because the left is against us. Yes, the left is against us. But to quote Cameron Hanes, no one cares. Work better.

Ann and Phelim, instead of whining that the left won't let them do it, raised $2.3 million dollars and did it anyway. Now their story is being seen.

If at first you don't succeed, just do better and try again. Should be a motto etched in walls across America.
