Feminist Icon Gloria Steinem Gives Super Sexist Reason for Why Women Don't Like Hillary...
We told you earlier about how young girls aren't feeling Hillary Clinton's constant use of the gender card, and don't think being a woman is enough of a reason to vote for someone. Well, they're going to LOVE this quote from Gloria Steinem.
The whole interview is gold because Bill Maher pushed her about Caitlyn Jenner being "Woman of the Year" and on the lack of feminist outrage towards the Muslim community. She tried skirting the issue, but he tried keeping her on point. We've discussed the lack of feminist attention on Islam on occasion here at LwC (see Dear ‘Feminists’: You’ll Never Be Relevant Until You Address Islam’s Real Rape Culture…).
Two things. One, Gloria does look damn good for 81. You go girl.
Secondly, think about this Bernie quote for a minute.
"When you're young you're thinking, 'Where are the boys? The boys are with Bernie.'"
A feminist icon - actually THE feminist icon - just dismissed the opinions of all younger women (we'll say 29 and younger) because they care too much about boys. Steinem just tossed young women - many of whom are still liberal, let's be honest - out the window because of their libidos and all of the cute boys have Bernie Sanders stickers. There's so much irony here that....yep, I've got gout.
So women not supporting Hillary but instead supporting Sanders means, according to THE FEMINIST ICON, they're boy crazy. In other words they're not thinking clearly. In other words women who think clearly vote for the woman, in this case Hillary.
This is leftism in a nut shell. It's not enough to drink the full glass of Kool Aid. If you only drink 90% of it, there's obviously something wrong with you. What's wrong with you, sisters, not voting for your fellow sister? Get down with the feminine struggle and vote for Hillary, A WOMAN (related I Don't Hate Women... Just Hillary Clinton).
Remember that ladies. You're not allowed to have a different reason to support the not-woman candidate. You get your marching orders from other women in the movement. Got it? Good. #Choice
