Recently there was an interesting interview in the New York Post with Chadwick Moore, a gay New Yorker who just came out... as a conservative. It started when he interviewed Milo (who's gay) for Out Magazine (which is gay) and found out first-hand how tolerant New York City liberals aren't. The piece wasn't necessarily positive, but the problem was it wasn't negative, therefore close friends suddenly thought Moore was a sellout. And an Islamophobe, because of course...

Speaking of which, you would think most gay people would be a tad 'Islamophobic,' all things considered (see Muslim Group Plans Genocide at Turkey’s Gay Pride Parade and Orlando Imam on Gays: ‘Death is the Sentence'). But that's not the issue here. Moore was promptly attacked for not being liberal enough. The nerve on that gay!

The loads of outrage caused an awakening for Chadwick...

I began to realize that maybe my opinions just didn’t fit in with the liberal status quo. Which seems to mean that you must absolutely hate Trump, his supporters and everything they believe. If you dare not to protest or boycott Trump, you are a traitor.

If you dare to question liberal stances or make an effort toward understanding why conservatives think the way they do, you are a traitor. It can seem like liberals are actually against free speech if it fails to conform with the way they think.

And I don’t want to be a part of that club anymore.

It used to be that if you were a gay, educated atheist living in New York, you had no choice but to be liberal. But as I met more Trump supporters with whom I was able to have engaging, civil discussions about issues that impact us all, I realized that I like these people — even if I have some issues with Trump himself.

Firstly, kudos to Chadwick. It takes some brass ones to speak out like this, regardless of what accusations come his way from leftist crybags.

The moral of the story here? Leftism is the absolute pittiest of pits. The tides have shifted. As a result, the swamp monster that is modern liberalism is out to drown all those who dare oppose it. Including its own (see CANNIBALISM: Leftists Turn on Darling Amy Schumer for 'Racist' Parody Video!). It's following this train of thought that Chadwick eventually renounced his former hatred of all things conservative.

Notice when he points out that Trump supporters welcomed him into civil debate? This comes as no surprise to most LwC readers (see Pew Study Finds Trump Supporters MORE Tolerant Than Hillary Supporters...). Still, it's worth noting where true tolerance resides. Spoiler: it's not the left.

Conservatives and liberals will always disagree on certain issues, of course. The difference? Conservatives aren't leading witch hunts against those who disagree with them, or destroying the livelihoods of innocent people for their "connections" to someone we don't like, or pummeling the faces of our opponents. Not with fists anyway. Melting leftist faces off with facts doesn't count (watch Ted Cruz Uses Actual Numbers. Completely DESTROYS Bernie Sanders!).

Meanwhile, liberals busy themselves with other typical social justice activities. You know, like leading cyber bullying campaigns against 10-year-olds. Or demanding the genocide of whites. But this guy? He's being attacked for committing the cardinal sin: disagreeing with the left. Naturally, buckets of rage were thrown his way. Courtesy of smarmy leftist ogres.

It seems that the more unhinged leftists get, the more moderate liberals want nothing to do with them. Think Dave Rubin. It's not that people wake up and suddenly love themselves some Trump (watch Crowder UNLOADS: 'People voted Trump because Democrats screwed them!'), it's just that the left is a bastion of cannibalistic hatred and whinage. Actual tolerance? Not so much.
