The First Amendment Defense Act...

Earlier this month, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee told Buzzfeed they plan to reintroduce a bill that barely gained a House hearing in 2015. But this time around the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) was likely to succeed due to a Republican-controlled House and backing of Donald Trump.

FADA would prohibit the federal government from taking discriminatory action against any business or person that discriminates against LGBTQ people. The act distinctly aims to protect the right of all entities to refuse service to LGBTQ people.

Some context here. Firstly, the whole reason behind FADA? We, the people, want to stomp on all things gay and rainbowed. Down with the heterosexually challenged! Just kidding. Since gay marriage became totes legal, multiple small businesses and human beings came under the hot, bejeweled fury of government-backed homos. Some examples...
