Ferguson Protesters Now Protest... Not Being Paid Enough To Protest.

Team Crowder
May 22, 2015

It has come to light in the last couple of days that about a week ago, protesters who protested in Ferguson, protested the people who hired them to protest for not paying for their protest fast enough.

If you want to read that again please do. I can wait.

So, yes. That is a thing that occurred in the actual world. As Weasel Zippers reports, the protest protesters took their protest to Twitter, too.

On May 14, protesters, upset with not being paid their promised checks for protesting, protested outside MORE, Missourians Organizing For Reform and Empowerment, an ACORN organization which had received funding through George Soros to fund the protests.

Their hashtag, #cutthechecks, was inundated with complaints and bickering among the participants and organizers alike.

But where was the money coming from, ultimately? Why, George Soros of course.

A few days ago, Daily Mail reported that the $33 million donation from Soros which turned events in Ferguson from a local protest into a national phenomenon was revealed in tax filings from Soros's private foundation. This money was given to dozens of different groups who weighed in on the crisis. Of course the director of Soros's fund denies any direct control over the groups they give to. Now a group called Millennial Activists United has posted a letter demanding MORE should “cut the checks” to the protestors.

Of course, Soros' agenda is far reaching and funds much, if not most, of the progressive left agenda in America. It is a hypocrisy the right has pointed out hundreds of times to little effect.

Now, far be it from me to say that the "spontaneous" protests in, and in solidarity with Ferguson are a bunch of astroturf, even though that is the exact claim the left falsely makes about every conservative grassroots event, protest or tea party. It is enough to point out the hilarious absurdity.

The left hires people to protest about unfairness and then fails to pay them for their work. That almost sounds, unfair.

Oh and should we mention most of the people wo didn't get paid were black? I wonder what the guy who didn't pay them looks like?

The white guy they are yelling at here is Jeff Ordower, the founder of MORE. Ordower is long time leftist activist previously associated with union organizing with the SEIU and with ACORN.

Amazing. I'm sure this will be all over the news. Right? RIGHT?

Who is making that cricket sound?
