Leftist anti-gunners parrot the same talking points about the Second Amendment having no real-life uses. I know  plenty people who would say otherwise. Po-pos getting shot at by drug-pushing gangbangers. Would-be rape victims. People who enjoy Bambi for dinner.

There's also this concealed carrier who used his piece to put down a baddie with a gun:

A convicted felon was shot then arrested after using a gun to threaten two men at a Cape Coral, Florida roofing company, one of whom happened to be an armed concealed carry holder.

Kevin Bruzos, 29, had already used a firearm to threaten someone, Cape Coral police say. He then left and returned with the weapon to threaten the same person and another individual. The individual, a permitted concealed carry holder, aimed his weapon at Bruzos and ordered him to drop his gun. Instead of obeying, Bruzos aimed it at the concealed carry holder, “who in turn defended himself and shot Bruzos.”

Boomity boom boom boom! Let this be a lesson to criminal dickweeds. Act a fool and you'll get yourself an expedited trip to the emergency room and a few hot chunks of lead in your midsection.

Funnily enough, this felon couldn't legally own a gat in the first place. Laws didn't stop him from getting his mitts on a hand-cannon and using it to spread some douchebaggery. Luckily, our hero had a legal piece of his own. Thus, the doctors are currently digging slugs out of the bad guy's tummy, instead of an innocent civilian's.

This is the purpose of the Second Amendment. No gun control laws are going to stop baddies from getting their theft, rape, and murder on. A good guy with a gun, on the other hand, is one helluva deterrent.
