Facebook Removes Infowars' Page for 'Violating Community Standards'
You might be one of the people who finds Alex Jones to be a kooky tin-hatter. Or, you could be a loyal user of Super Male Vitality on a vendetta to crush the globalists. Either way, you're going to have to go somewhere besides Facebook to get your Infowars fix.
As a result of reports we received, last week, we removed four videos on four Facebook Pages for violating our hate speech and bullying policies. These pages were the Alex Jones Channel Page, the Alex Jones Page, the InfoWars Page and the Infowars Nightly News Page. In addition, one of the admins of these Pages – Alex Jones – was placed in a 30-day block for his role in posting violating content to these Pages.
Since then, more content from the same Pages has been reported to us — upon review, we have taken it down for glorifying violence, which violates our graphic violence policy, and using dehumanizing language to describe people who are transgender, Muslims and immigrants, which violates our hate speech policies.
Well, it appears as if the Zuck-ening has begun. No more speaking outside their guidelines. Otherwise, you're gonna get dealt with.
Notice how the statement specifically cites leftist "pet victim groups." A move which sounds politically motivated. It seems if you have the wrong opinions about sex-to-sex transformers, Muhammad fangirls, or border-hopping pendejos, you could land yourself in Facebook's version of solitary confinement. Where your body will be ground up as fuel for Zuckerberg's mothership.
This, my friends is the slippery slope which begins the decline toward the lefty thought police. If your opinions are the "wrong" ones, they have no place in the public sphere. Repeated violations of these thought crimes result in complete un-personing. Welcome to the future.
We've had our own run-ins with Facebook before:
