REPORT: Majority of Europeans WANT a "Travel Ban." Guess Why...

Team Crowder
February 11, 2017

By now you may be maxed out on travel ban news, but bear with me. Reading the following data is worthwhile. You'll want to show these numbers to all your social justice "friends."

You know how the left is continuously losing its crap over the executive order? So much so that the 9th Circuit Court intervened like an unwanted, neckbearded white knight. Amid all the protests and cry sessions, social justice warriors have overlooked one key factor. The majority of Americans like the "ban." And as it turns out, a whole bunch of other people do too. In a recent Chatham House survey, thousands of Europeans revealed how they feel on the matter.

Hold onto your butts...

Drawing on a unique, new Chatham House survey of more than 10,000 people from 10 European states, we can throw new light on what people think about migration from mainly Muslim countries. Our results suggest that public opposition to any further migration from predominantly Muslim states is by no means confined to Trump's electorate in the US but is fairly widespread.

In our survey, carried out before President Trump's executive order, respondents were given the following statement: 'All further migration from mainly Muslim countries should be stopped'. They were then asked to what extent did they agree with this statement.

Overall, across 10 of the European countries an average of 55% agreed... 25% neither agreed nor disagreed and 20% disagreed.

Peep the results in depth below.

These results may be a tad surprising. After all, one of Europe's two greatest passions is taking in refugees. The other is wearing Banana Republic. But there's an important distinction to be made here: European bureaucracy loves rapey migrants (see European Union Says "Europe NEEDS More Migrants." Yes, Really...). The actual people of Europe? Nope.

In fact, Europeans are rather familiar with mass migration from Muslim countries firsthand. They know a thing or two when it comes to refugees. Hence the majority of these respondents support a ban of sorts. Open borders didn't work out too hot for them (read Dear France: Hows That 'Multiculturalism' Working Out For You?).

Europe is quickly becoming a terrorism riddled crapshoot. Loads of Muslims are flooding in from sexist, homophobic countries and bringing their bomb-vested culture with them. Meanwhile, American leftists still prance about in rainbow flags chanting #NotAllMuslims while demanding we follow suit. How about no?

Feelings forever, critical thinking NEVER!
