The Trump administration has released a new budget plan. Because it has Trump's name on it, already the left is flailing in a tantrum (see YES! Good news for conservatives: funding to the EPA is being cut. Significantly. From Free Beacon:

The Trump administration's budget cuts the Environmental Protection Agency by 31 percent.

The budget, released officially Tuesday, seeks to reduce the agency's redundancies and efficiencies while prioritizing infrastructure and environmental clean up efforts. If adopted, the EPA would receive $5.655 billion.

The EPA says the budget respects the American taxpayer by saving $1 billion by eliminating roughly 50 duplicative programs.

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt is seeking to eliminate 25 percent of the agency's employees, though the budget does not provide a specific number for reduction in fiscal year 2018.

Despite claims from Democrats, the budget continues to fund research for clean water and clean air.

"Save the trees” is finally turning into save the green. So in a strange twist of fate, maybe the EPA is going green. Folks, these are the jokes.

The EPA has been spending money like Bernie Sanders buying another vacation house. Much of the funding cuts were those going toward unsupported claims of “climate change." And if not toward climate change, toward polluting the Colorado Animas River. My trust in the EPA is not a healthy one.

A cut in government spending is a plus, especially when it comes to the Environmental Protection Agency. And despite leftist's likely panic which will lead to "The Republicans Hate You and Want to Kill Your Air and Water" the EPA will still have plenty of mullah to do whatever it does for "clean water and air." Again, though. The Animas River. EPA turned it orange. Not a good color for skin tone, much less a flowing body of supposedly fresh water.
