WATCH: Black Woman Disobeys Officer, Actively Resists Arrest. #BlackLivesMatter Still Claims Racism...
Here's an idea for a drinking game. Every time a leftist outrage mob finds a new "injustice" to be upset about, you take a shot. Disclaimer: you'll probably die from alcohol poisoning. Repeatedly. The newest outrage? A recently released video showing the arrest of Earledreka White. Watch carefully, because there's a quiz after. Maybe you should take some notes...
You catch that? How many of you have been pulled over by police officers? How many of you got out of your car despite the officer telling you to stay in the car? Look at you! Gold star! That's your first clue, because Ms. White here disobeyed that command. Now here's what WaPo had to say about it...
[Earledreka White] called 911 to report the traffic stop and asked for police backup. "He's saying I crossed over a solid line and I did not," White told the dispatcher. "I got out of the car to ask him what the offense was. He raised his voice at me and threatened to arrest me..."White then tells the dispatcher she is being "harassed." Two minutes later, the officer reached for his handcuffs, then for White's left wrist... unleashing a minutes-long struggle with White screaming for him to stop. White spent two days in jail on a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest and was released on a $1,000 bail.
And here's the newest anti-cop hashtag making its debut...
Alright, so here are the facts, written down all nice like now you've seen the video. Earledreka was pulled over for crossing a double white line. She had no criminal record at the time - something the police officer couldn't have possibly known since she refused to provide her ID. He asked her to provide her ID because she crossed a double white line. Try to keep up. He then told her to stay in her car. She didn't. Even though most of us just stay in the damn car when the guy with the boom-boom stick tells us to stay in the car. Also, most people don't need to be told to stay in the car. You just STAY IN THE CAR. How is this hard?
The officer then asked her to identify herself, which she also didn't do. At this point one must wonder if Ms. White has all her mental faculties about her.
In short, she chose not to comply with the police officer's orders. In Texas? That's illegal.
When you refuse to comply with an officer, you get arrested. That's what went down in Earledreka's situation. Did the officer get rough? Yeah, that tends to happen when you try to avoid being handcuffed by writhing around like an epileptic noodle. The cop had to wrangle her against the car just to get her to hold still.
While we're on the subject, here's another smidgen of information that Black Lives Matter missed. This video just recently surfaced but the arrest took place months ago. In that time span the police officer's actions against Earledreka were investigated. The verdict? No injustice to be seen here. Besides that tragic first name.
Over several weeks, an internal investigation reviews all surveillance video, as well as written statements from four other law enforcement officials who arrived at the scene... Metro police issued findings from its investigation and cleared [Officer] Luca of all alleged violations. Metro Police Chief Vera Bumpers said Luca was acting within the bounds of the law.
By the way, that Police Chief? She's black. Still, BLM rushes to throw racist accusations into the mix (see Sheriff Clarke Blasts #BlackLivesMatter and Obama for Race-Baiting). Again. Despite the fact that this clearly wasn't a race issue. It's a stupid person who refused multiple requests to follow basic commands. An intelligence issue, maybe. A racism issue, hardly. Whoops.
