This man is a real father figure.

A dad protested a school board's decision to relax dress code rules for kids when he suddenly stripped down to a black crop top and Daisy Dukes in front of stunned attendees, leaving very little for the imagination.

“Wow,” one parent said as she gazed upon his dad bod.

Ira Latham said he wanted to make a clear argument against the new dress code policy at Higley Unified School District, which was more lenient and condoned anything that didn't expose the student's underwear.

“Under the proposed policy, this would be appropriate in a classroom,” he told the audience.

He said he picked up the outfit at a thrift shop.

The progressive school board made the decision to loosen the dress code rules because the standards had not been updated since 2001. They believed the existing restrictions disproportionately targeted females and proposed allowing exposed midriffs, spaghetti straps, and halter tops.

“We’re saying that they need to cover up because of the way it might make someone else feel and that is wrong,” School Board President Tiffany Shultz said.

These are the same people who will allow boys to enter the girl's locker room because of the way they "feel." Progressives can never keep their lack of logic straight.

And not everyone agreed with the woke board members, obviously.

“If we are preparing our children to be college- and career-ready, then they need to learn to be able to have self-respect and that doesn’t include showing off their body parts,” panelist Anna Van Hoek said.

Latham, who has a daughter in the district, said “The dress code that they wanted to get to is just basically a dress code for a public pool,” he told NBC. “Make sure that kids cover their underwear and that’s about it.”

But the concerned Dad's bold fashion statement was all for nothing because the board eventually voted for the more lenient dress code by a 3-2 margin.

“It’s gonna be distracting in the classroom and it’s gonna have some parents that want to pull their kids out of the district.”

Progressives are always trying to sexualize kids in any way they can. Yet they accuse others of “sexualizing” females because they want them to dress appropriately.

According to progressive standards, adults who feel uncomfortable with minors dressing provocatively are now considered the predators, and the creeps who want young girls to be able to dress inappropriately are the good guys.

It is not even acceptable to dress like that at most jobs. So why would it be acceptable for a bunch of students?

Schools are nothing more than social institutions for progressive causes instead of educational facilities. And the activists that control these same schools wonder why ACT test scores for students have dropped to a new 30-year low.

Kids should dress appropriately in school and it is shocking that this is even an issue.

Do these people not remember what it is like going to school with a bunch of teenage boys? I can guarantee that fewer clothes will not help them learn geometry any better.

It is appalling that we live in a day where adults are advocating for minors to have less clothing on.

At the very least, the man with the striking dad bod has a point, "only cover your underwear" is a ridiculously loose policy that students will most definitely exploit.
