Patricia Arquette Tweets About Guns, Gets Owned by Donald Trump Jr.
I wonder how it feels for a Hollywood celebrity like Patricia Arquette to know she got owned by Donald Trump's son? That's gotta sting. And it's probably the most shame brought to her family since her brother David won the WCW Heavyweight Championship.
We start off with a basic celebrity trying to out stupid another celebrity tweet (see It's Come to This: Kim Kardashian Blasts Gun Rights on Twitter and Ariana Grande Calls Las Vegas Shooting 'Terrorism,' Calls for Gun Control).
Patty was sitting around her condo and felt that she just had to say something. Here's what she came up with.
You may have the right to have a gun but you don't have the right to shoot it at people because you are simply angry.— Patricia Arquette (@Patricia Arquette) 1507138310.0
Um...is that under dispute? Is anyone arguing the Second Amendment gives you the right to shoot at people because you're angry? Because I have to be honest with you, as someone who makes some decent coin as a right wing nut job, I've never heard anyone argue otherwise. If anything, I'm sure most of us on the right would agree with a common sense gun law that made it illegal to shoot someone out of anger.
Shockingly not shocking, lots of people blasted Patty for this. However, one tweet stands out that has to particularly sting.
Solid points. Welcome to the Republican Party. https://t.co/LdIGi00WSp— Donald Trump Jr. (@Donald Trump Jr.) 1507168023.0
That's right, an Arquette just got owned by a Trump. Put some ice on it, honey.
Suddenly, starring in Ready to Rumble is no longer the most embarrassing thing someone in her family has done. Have fun at the family dinner table this Thanksgiving, Patty.
