The DNC had a love/hate relationship with the Philadelphia Police, though mostly the later. Because law enforcement means rules. Even though it also means government rules. So you can see the conundrum.

The love/hate started with the head of the police union expressing his disapproval over the DNC featuring #BlackLivesMatter with no mention of the the police who have been murdered (like this one from Philadelphia). The DNC "rectified" it somehow with a moment of silence...that was heckled and booed by BlackLivesMatter snot weasels.

Now we hear the DNC didn't want uniformed cops inside at all...

Some Philadelphia police officers say they were barred from patrolling in uniform on the floor of the convention while it was in session — spurring claims that Democrats are anti-law enforcement.

Rudy Giuliani on Thursday first raised the issue of uniformed cops not being allowed to mingle with delegates on the floor.

“Philadelphia police officers are not in the convention hall. They’re not allowed in uniform. I would say it’s because the Democratic Party delegates are anti-police, anti-law enforcement. They hate the police. Republicans are not embarrassed by police officers."

The Post interviewed three police officers who confirmed they were ordered to steer clear of the convention floor during the proceedings while wearing their uniforms.

Reminder, the police are the same people the Democrats want to have guns. Only. Only the cops should have guns, the Democrats tell us. You? No. Can't be trusted. The cops? Yes. Give the cops the guns. Even though, for leftists, cops are racist fecal patties who kill unarmed black men for sport. Those unarmed black men are like a special kind of delicacy for those bloodthirsty coppers. But give them the guns.

Then the same cops the Democrats want to have guns cannot be trusted to be at their DNC in uniform. Because cops are racist. You can't make this stuff up.

This is the Democrat party who wants to run your life, who wants to make choices on your behalf, who wants control of the government purse strings (your tax dollars) to make giant financial decisions for our nation. Feel good about that?
