There couldn't be a cause that more embodies today's liberalism, where they are so desperate to have their world view legitimized and forced upon everyone else. We're at the point where even any symbolism whatsoever will do. They haven't had any luck passing what they call "common sense gun control," mainly because - and this is especially after something bad happens - normal people don't think that making it harder for good guys to defend themselves against criminals is common sense. So, instead, they try to show how serious they are about "gun control" by bullying iPhone into removing a poorly drawn emoticon.

Also, whatever happened to the whole "how does it affect you?" argument? If you don't like the little revolver emoji, don't use it. There's an emoji with two dudes kissing. Christians, Muslims and observant Jews generally avoid descending into the abyss of 'offense' by, oh, avoiding it?

PLACE YOUR BETS: Over/under for celebrities having their publicists tweeting about this on the Twitter accounts they don't know they have? Yes, the same one's who have armed bodyguards...with iPhones.

Final question: do they start calling this an 'assault' hand gun? Because remember, they don't want to ban guns. They only want to ban 'assault rifles' because no one needs a semi-automatic machine gun to go hunting.
