Watch: Democrat Senator Questions ICE About Illegal Immigration, Doesn't Understand What 'Illegal' Means
For all the simpering lemmings who think Washington politicians are our intellectual betters, I give you Democrat Senator Mazie Hirono from Hawaii. She was confused between some legal terminology on the subject of illegal immigration. Behold:
Laws are laws even if you feel bad about them. Which I think is what happened to Hawaii's esteemed senator. Take a bow, you sun-kissed islanders, you picked yourselves a real winner. Mahalo for the video. It appears Mazie Hirono has CNN on its 24-hour news cycle, where between "BUT RUSSIA" segments, CNN's animatronic drones issue talking points about "BUT SEPARATING FAMILIES!" Never mentioning crossing the border -- with or without children still learning their uno, dos, tres -- is illegal.
Here's the thing, it's fair if you, the person reading this while crashed on the couch with an iPhone, is confused about the civil and criminal proceedings of illegal immigration. But you, the fabulous person on your couch with your iPhone, is not questioning ICE about why they're arresting people for illegally crossing the border. Key difference.
So if you're a senator, representing your state (which, incidentally, is surrounded by thousands of miles of ocean, good luck entering illegally) on the touchy-feely issues of illegal immigration, maybe run some Google searches ahead of time before questioning ICE. Pro-tip.
