One of the hottest trends sweeping the nation? NFL players taking a knee to dis the American flag demand some of that social justice. Because America is racist for giving them millions of dollars to play a game. Even some Democrat congressmen are joining in to #taketheknee. Of course they are.

A second Democratic lawmaker took a knee on the House floor Tuesday to support NFL players protesting racial injustice and police brutality.

Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) went down on one knee behind his podium at the end of a speech denouncing President Trump’s attacks on athletes who kneel during the national anthem to draw attention to law enforcement’s treatment of African Americans, The Hill reported.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, was the first member of Congress to take a knee Monday night.

So, Trump has singlehandedly coerced the left into outright disrespecting our flag and our national anthem. Exposing them for the anti-American buttmunches they are.

But wait, it gets even better. Another congressman thought Trump's take on the NFL protests was cause for impeachment. Not even joking.

Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) said Tuesday that he will move to force a House floor vote to impeach President Trump next week as he denounced Trump's attacks on NFL players protesting police brutality.

An overreaction, to say the least. Thanks to leftists, threats of impeachment have lost all meaning. Once upon a time, a call for impeachment would dominate the news cycle. Now, it's just Tuesday.

Also, who wants to tell the Democrats that kneeling is what subjects did before kings?

Isn't it also funny how selective leftists are about free speech. Taking a dump on the flag and trashing America seem to be the only valid forms of free speech to leftists. But, if a conservative dares to speak of personal liberties and lower taxes on a college campus? "Ban the hateful charlatan! JOOOOOOOO!"

These Democrat congressmen are free to #taketheknee. Likewise, we're free to take the boot to their lumpy posteriors when they're up for reelection. Choices. They're a two way streets.
