Watch: Chippewa Falls School Responds, We Debunk Their Bullsh*t!
The Chippewa Falls School District decided to double down on its decision to not tell parents and leave them in the dark about the manifesto after the police report was leaked on the show. Subsequently, they have also decided to attack the messenger. Today’s show debunks the false claims they made.
The district told parents in a letter sent out yesterday that no one “was in jeopardy at any time” because of the incident.
"The student was dangerous enough to be suspended and then expelled,” Crowder said.
It took five weeks from the time he was suspended to be expelled.
“That’s the danger zone,” Crowder said. “For five weeks, parents had no idea that this person was there.”
They also claimed that there was no unusual police presence, which is why the parents weren't told. However, according to their statement last night, they said, “The District also consulted with local law enforcement officials and maintained a police presence as well."
"How are these children safer?" Crowder said. "None of this is consistent."
They also said they were just following protocol.
"Nothing in protocol required them to keep parents in the dark," Crowder said. "When a child who is currently on suspension for five weeks with a plot, a date that takes place during the suspension, and a cart full of material, with nothing to lose, I think that qualifies.”
The District tried to turn this around and claim the report contained misinformation even though the entire report was read on the show.
"You can watch [the report] in its entirety, or read it in its entirety. They have no respect for you," Crowder said. "All of you have the references. Fact check us. If [the superidnent] can find where we altered, edited, lied about, or misrepresented the report, I will quit this show. If [he] can't, then [he] resigns."
