New D.C. Law Now FORCES Businesses to Use 'Preferred Pronouns.' Yes, Really...

We covered how in NYC you can be fined for "misgendering" someone. D.C. seems to be following suit. That is, a gender-neutral suit which can be worn by males, females, and all non cisgender in-betweeners. In D.C., you're now legally obligated to use pronouns preferred by the gender confused. Even if those pronouns are nonsensical words that don't actually exist.

Employers and employees in Washington D.C. are legally prohibited from referring to a transgender employee or coworker by the "wrong" pronouns or asking "personal questions" about their gender identity, according to the city's Office of Human Rights (OHR). OHR published a best practices guide for "valuing transgender applicants and employees" with a list of "behaviors by supervisors or coworkers [that] may be considered unlawful harassment or a hostile work environment."

The "best practices" guide features a chart on "gender and gender-neutral pronouns" that includes the gender-neutral pronoun "ze." [It] includes example phrases, such as "Ze smiled," "I met zir," "Zir bike" and "Ze is zirself." The guide also [makes] clear that employees should be allowed to use the bathroom in which they're most comfortable.

In short, OHR gets to mandate how every D.C. business operates when it comes to "tolerance." That's right, preferred pronouns fall under the jurisdiction of a human rights committee. And so do bathroom privileges. Because where trannies do their business is nobody's business... Except that of leftist OHR, who's forcing it to also be your business. So...

See the irony? The left claims that nobody should be able to tell anyone else what they can do. They can be gay, switch genders, even be a dog. Because that's a personal freedom, so step off. Then they turn around and try to invade every aspect of your personal life to tell you what to do and how to think. It boils down to a special caste system, where the "minorities" are the superior class. They get to think and do whatever they please, so long as they're voting Democrat. But you? You don't get those same rights. You get to be fined and regulated into a politically correct cesspool.

Also, have you ever consider just how awkward it is to ask for someone's "preferred gender pronoun"? Can you imagine how insulting it might be to ask a larger woman what they're "preferred gender pronoun" is? Or a man? A man who's really not into all this fluff about words?

Fortunately you don't have to wonder. Watch, learn, laugh. Or get fined.
