While the rest of Europe has embraced gun control and terrorism, Czech Republic is opting for neither. But thanks. Their parliament just agreed to change their constitution, granting unto themselves more gun rights. Yes more. In America, violating the constitution leads to less freedom. In Europe when a constitution is changed,  they get more freedom. Czech it out...

The lower house of the Czech parliament has agreed to alter the constitution so that firearms can be held legally when national security is threatened.

The amendment gives Czechs the right to use firearms during terrorist attacks. "We don't want to disarm our citizens at a time when the security situation in Europe is getting worse," Interior Minister Milan Chovanec told parliament on Wednesday.

Gee, that sentiment sounds familiar.

The move by parliament is a challenge to EU gun control rules which restrict civilians from possessing certain kinds of semi-automatic weapons.

Making a move that values personal liberties and increases safety goes against the European Union's wishes. Imagine my surprise.

Thankfully the Czech Republic has little interest in letting the EU snatch the reins on this one.

This choice is sure to spark mealy-mouthed tantrums from globalist overlords in Brussels. Seems the Czechians give zero toots about what an unelected bunch of fecal patties think. Their decision comes after witnessing their fearful European neighbors undergo waves of terrorism in runaway truck, or stabby fashion. They'll be gunless, sitting ducks no more. I dig it.

We've already seen the disastrous results of Australia doing away with boom sticks (see WOW: New Report Reveals Just How Badly Australia's Gun Ban Failed...). It will be interesting to see how the Czech Republic's embrace of gun defense serves them. Prediction: waaaay less Allahu Akbaring in that pocket of Europe.
