Watch: Everybody we talk to thinks Joe Biden absolutely sucks
Crowder spoke to people on the street to discuss what matters most in this election, and the answers were shocking.
The people are sick of former Vice President Joe Biden and these interviews prove that the electoral map is changing.
Although the first man respectively believes that "most Americans are probably ill-informed," as polls show the top concerns are the economy and illegal immigration, his top concerns would be abortion, packing the SCOTUS, and Democracy. However, some of the interviewees seemed to disagree.
The second interviewee, who generally tries "to stay away from politics," because "you never know what people are going to bring," stated his top concern is the economy. He also emphasized how when his parents bought a home, they actually bought several because it was more affordable back then. Although the media wants the public to believe the economy is doing better than ever, this man tends to disagree, as he is feeling it, especially with rent, food, income, and how the overall cost of living outpaces income. And as part of the younger demographic, he will be voting for Trump, as will a lot of his peers.
The third man, Brandon, who will be voting for Biden, is not surprised that most people are concerned with the economy and immigration because he also believes this stems from ignorance.
“I think people's idea of the economy and immigration are skewed. You have individuals who are far away from the border chiming in on issues that in my opinion, they're not there. So they don't have a good understanding or grasp of what's really going on,” Brandon said. “You look at the facts, the economy is doing great. Unemployment is down every month, and you've got record job growth every month. And it might not reflect people individually, but if they can look at it from a wider perspective, as a whole, then I think that they would have a better appreciation and understanding of how good things are.”
Trump and Biden have two completely different messages when it comes to the economy. Biden wants you to disbelieve your eyes, as he claims the economy is far exceeding anyone's expectations. Trump doesn’t have to convince anyone, as he promises to bring back his policies that helped all Americans across the board.
However, any problem with the economy is more of a personal issue, as Brandon believes you cannot complain about the cost of living if you are paying $100 for jeans. Although one would assume those affected the most by the economy cannot afford pants at that cost, that’s probably the real issue at hand, according to him.
“If the economy is doing well, if immigration is not an issue, there can only be this messaging for so long of ‘No, what you're living isn't what's actually going on,” Crowder said.
The last two people believe that the economy is the biggest issue. One man in particular, Joey, claims to be broke even though he has made more money than ever before in his life. He also added that the border is out of control and doesn't appreciate people cutting the line when he knows so many who had to wait their turn and do it the correct way.
“You can lie to them however long you want but people are feeling it,” Crowder said. When you actually get out and talk with people, it seems that those most insulated from today's problems are the ones most likely to sympathize with the leftist platform. But there's a silver lining here in that nothing is predetermined, voters can change their minds and it seems like quite a few of them are listening, they're looking for strong policies [and] actual solutions, not pandering.”
