Few members in Congress virtue signal quite as douchey as douche Representative Eric Swalwell. He took issue with Donald Trump's tweet "attacks" on the freedom of the press. Yes, really tackling the tough issues. Swalwell tweeted a thing about Trump's press tweeting (welcome to news in 2019), which inspired Dan Crenshaw to roll his eye. While this isn't the first time Crenshaw has bitch slapped his Democrat colleague, he made two points we need to expand upon.

First point: we can have a conversation about Trump's attack on the First Amendment when President Trump does something other than talk sh!t from the safety of his Twitter account. Yes, there are some days when we wish Melania would swap his phone for a stress ball. Maybe a squeak toy.

Also, where were the Democrats crying about free speech when Obama was using the Constitution as toilet paper?

The second point is more important. If leftists had their druthers, we'd be Europe. Where "free speech" has asterisks, addendums, limits, thought police and courts of law. Let's watch the Democrat debates over the next two years. The people running for president will show us the new and exciting ways to say how they want to limit speech they disagree with. Then talk to me about how you're going to "out maneuver with your mind" any attacks on the First Amendment.
