Detectives from Erlanger began the work of securing subpoenas and warrants for online records Wednesday afternoon. They started by pulling some of the many alleged threats from the internet.

There is no precise count yet, but Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders estimated this week there could be hundreds of such threats.

He is adamant about the seriousness of the situation, stressing that anyone who has made a threat is subject to prosecution if they are identified and found.

How many of the people who made threats against these students, over a FALSE story, clamber on Twitter after a school shooting, tweeting about how we need gun control even if it saves just one life? My guess is, were I to Venn diagram these people, it would just be a circle. I can't promise I wouldn't draw obscene versions of male genitalia all over it.
