Conservative Shows Anti-AltRight Solidarity With Leftists. Who Attack Him!

Brodigan
August 16, 2017

Conservatives need to forcefully denounce Nazis, white supremacists, and the AltRight (see Car Crash into Counter-Protesters in Charlottesville Treated as ‘Criminal Homicide’ and Ted Cruz on Charlottesville: Prosecute This Grotesque Act of Domestic Terrorism). College student Caleb Slater agreed, so he went to a rally to show solidarity against the AltRight. As a member of Young America's Foundation. He even wore his YAF hat.

Yeah, you know where this is going. He tells his full story here, but this paragraph needs to be highlighted.

More people began to chime in and yell, “No Trump, No KKK, Nazi go away” over and over again. I replied by shouting that I am in fact not a neonazi, but a first generation born half Dominican, half African American whose grandfather was a civil rights activist. I came to this event in peace, I came to this event to stand beside my fellow Americans to disavow bigotry and instead I became the victim of bigotry, an intellectual bigotry. I was not attacked for my words, nor my actions. I was attacked for being a conservative, Antifa targeted me, shortly after seeing a Young America’s Foundation hat. My crime was wearing a hat on public property and I was assaulted for it.

There's a debate on why some on the right are hesitant to denounce some of our fringe elements, and here's an example why. This student showed up TO DENOUNCE. He was there to show solidarity. But, he didn't do it the right away, so he was on the wrong end of an angry mob.

Tolerance thy name is not leftism. If you're wondering "Why don't more right-wingers denounce the fringes of the right wing" it's because the left wing (which seems to be all fringe) attacks them anyway. See, if you're not on the left, you're just a Nazi (to the left). Despite the left having more in common with the "AltRight" anyway.

Here, let Steven break it down real simple like:
