Chris Cuomo is one of the more liberal reporters on CNN. You can read an example of it here. Allow me to clarify: what that really means is that he's to the left of Mao. Which is why it's even more telling when even HE is tired of the political correctness in refusing to call Islamic extremism what it is...

“Look — and the Muslim thing matters, too — just does,” Cuomo said during the Thursday segment. “Are all Muslims bad when Muslims do something bad? No. But at the same time, when you analogize it to — you know, a guy who might be a Christian and does something, you don’t see Christians killing in the name of Christianity the way you do with Muslims right now. And it feeds a lot of the phobia, and it’s something that requires discussion and time and context. And that’s in short supply when people are angry.”

This is probably the biggest problem in fighting the "War on Terror" right now. The leftists in charge of protecting us are intellectually uncurious in anything that makes their ideology look bad (Read Dear Cowardly Politicians Subverting our Safety for "Refugees"). Or at least they pretend to be. Occasionally we see glimpses of earnestness as we do here. How long were they hoping that the gunmen in San Bernardino were two white guys with NRA memberships? How long did it take for them to admit the Chattanooga and Ft. Hood shootings were terrorism and not just work place violence? In their quiet time, when nobody's watching, do you really think they're as delusional as they pretend to be? It's the year 2015. Can anyone with a straight face say that "Islam is just like any other religion" anymore? It's seeming less and less that way.
