Russian anti-corruption activist Alexei Navalny died in a Russian prison last week, but the real enemy are a Republican congressmen for not sending Ukraine any more of your tax dollars. That's what CNN Senior White House Correspondent MJ Lee was getting at as she attempted to do a journalism with Joe Biden as he returned from yet another vacation.

We covered the Navalny story on yesterday's show. Here are five key things you need to know:

1. Alexei Navalny was poisoned on a business trip in 2020 and sent to a Siberian prison.
2. In 2021, Biden claimed there would be "devastating" consequences for Russia if Navalny died.
3. Republicans want a bill that separates border security and aid to Israel from sending billions and billions MORE to Ukraine to fight Russia.
4. Navalny died.
5. Biden's a pussy.

The third point is where Lee had her opportunity to smear Republicans.

CNN's Senior WH Journalismer: "Would you go so far as to say that Alexei Navalny's blood is on the hands of House Republicans right now?"

Joey: "I wouldn't use that term, but they're making a big mistake not responding"

I'm sure if you asked Lee, she would claim, "Oh, well, 'people' are saying the GOP has blood on their hands." "People" means left-wing activists and her useless colleagues at CNN and throughout the clickbait industrial complex. But let's give her the benefit of the doubt. Let's say that Lee, instead of being a partisan hack, is just an idiot.

CNN's Senior White House Correspondent:

- doesn't know the difference between 2020 and 2024.

- doesn't know how legislation works.

- thinks the only thing keeping Navalny alive was American tax dollars being sent to Ukraine.

- gets borders confused like Chuck Schumer does.

- forgets what country she lives in.

- is crushing hard on Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

But the saddest part? Americans find ourselves playing "Hack or Idiot" with way too many humans whom we're supposed to be depending on to accurately report on national politics. The next time a poll comes out that labels journalism as the least trusted institution in America, people like MJ Lee will not have any idea why.
