Uh Oh! 'Clockboy's' Defamation Lawsuit Against Conservatives Bombs...
Remember Ahmed "Clock Boy" Mohamed? Sure you do, but let's refresh anyway (Bill Maher Slams Ahmed Mohamed’s ‘#ClockGate’. Liberals Outraged)? Remember how he and his super daddy sued every conservative blogger who dared mock him (‘Clock Boy’ Returns! Now Suing Ben Shapiro, Fox News, and Others)? Turns out his case was as well built as that clock which looked like a bomb. Shoddily.
Lawsuit dismissed Champ! I've got your defamation right here...
A district court judge in Texas has dismissed a defamation lawsuit filed by Ahmed Mohamed on his own behalf and on behalf of his 15-year-old son, Ahmed Mohamed. They had sued Fox News, Glenn Beck, and the mayor of Irving -- among others -- for defamation in September of 2016.A year earlier, Ahmed, then a 14-year-old freshman at an Irving, Texas, high school, was arrested, briefly detained by police, and suspended for three days after bringing to school a "cool clock" that looked like a briefcase bomb. Ahmed claimed to have "invented" the easily assembled clock, and that he had brought it to school to show it to his shop teacher.
It's good to see one of the original fake news stories finally put to rest. I mean, Clock Boy even got a shout out from the White House.
Then, of course, it became clear he was a fraud. Takes one to know one, after all.
Will this be the end of the Clockster? Maybe. I must say if yes, I'll miss the little bomb-making cretin. Every time that pustule made news, I just itched for new ways to call out his obvious fraud for the world to see. Talk about lacking self-awareness. Little Ahmed doesn't' stand much chance of growing into his own man, what with Daddy Warclock dictating their next moves. In ways which aren't exactly masterful. It's becoming clearer and clearer why the Mohamed clan is forced to sue for their money, no?
