A Ship Literally Named Named "Climate Justice" Just Loaded Up With Coal To Ship Overseas
A giant ship just docked in Vancouver, filled up with coal, and is now heading back to Asia where the coal will be burned in steel plants.
Oh, and there is some irony here. The ship is named Climate Justice because it is reported to be cleaner-burning than its fellow carriers.
In Canada, 6% of electricity was generated with coal in 2020 and the government plans to phase out coal-fired electricity by 2030.
According to the National Post, Climate Justice does carry an awful lot of coal; between 30,000 and 40,000 tonnes. And once burned, that size of a load will produce between 60,000 and 80,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
Just for reference, the average carbon footprint in America is 16 tons. That means, over the course of a year, the average person emits 16 tons of greenhouse gasses, which is mainly carbon dioxide.
Leftists in Canada refuse to burn coal and plan to phase it out entirely by 2030, yet it is perfectly okay to send it off for climate destruction in Asia.
The lack of self-awareness of their own destructive policies is outstanding.
According to the National Post, Climate Justice filled up at Neptune Terminals. Which is a facility that specializes in the export of coal from the B.C. Neptune. When you combine that with Westshore Terminals, an even larger coal facility in Tsawwassen, the Port of Vancouver ranks as the single largest coal port in North America.
So while Canada continues to charge a carbon tax on its citizens, it is sending off coal to Asia.
But we should expect nothing less when the country is run by a hypocritical climate prophet.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau takes dozens of private jet trips a month, according to the National Post. In one recent incident, he even flew empty from Toronto to Waterloo to bypass the hour’s drive.
In another recent 30-day period, Truedeo took 17 flights, and 10 of those lasted less than one hour.
A year’s worth of publicly available data examined by the National Post also revealed Trudeau's logged airtime over 10 months between 2021 and 2022, was equal to nearly three trips around the globe.
How can you get more narcissistic than that? He claims he is here to save the world as he parades around with a messiah complex, yet actively does the exact opposite of what someone who really thought the world was going to end.
But all climate prophets are hypocrites.
An analysis by the National Center for Public Policy Research found that Al Gore's Tennessee home "guzzles more electricity in one year than the average American family uses in 21 years,” surging up to 34 times the national average.
In March, Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry defended government leaders who travel to climate summits on gas-guzzling private jets because they're "working harder than most people I know to be able to try to effect this transition."
Why does it always seem like climate prophets live by the slogan ‘Do as I say, not as I do?
Climate alarmists are nothing but sociopaths who use guilt, blame, and hope in order to take control of the masses by fear-mongering a doom-and-gloom catastrophe.
If these people actually believed in the level of doom they predicted and monger, they would not be doing these things. No one should believe anything they say because they do not even believe anything they say.
