Christine Amanpour ended her lengthy interview with former FBI director James Comey by asking about hate speech in the "lock her up" mantra, as it was applied to head witch Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign. James Comey went onto say “That’s not the role for government to play. The same amendment which gives Christine Amanpour the right to be ignorant on camera without the government throwing her in prison for misstating her facts, is the same amendment which allows for people wishing aloud that Hillary Clinton be tossed behind bars. It's the First Amendment. You're allowed to say whatever you want, I'm allowed to say whatever I want. It's how we debate ideas and progress as a society.
