Chris Pratt Don't Care, Openly Supports #BlueLivesMatter

Brodigan
November 05, 2015

Chris Pratt being awesome really isn't all that newsy. We're big fans around here, that's not news either. But, when you have Quentin Tarantino in the news for calling cops murderers, it's good to see a celebrity - who unlike Tarantino is not grossly overrated - sharing something respectful and/or decent. Which is news.

Pratt was moved by this story he saw on Facebook about two police officers helping a driver who couldn't afford car seats. Pratt had this to say...

This story really moved me. At the end of the day we're all human. And although there are some bad cops no doubt, these Texas cops remind us of the real service we're provided by our men and women in blue. I felt like they deserve recognition. Alright. Have a good weekend everyone!

It was simple. It wasn't done with a press release, because OH MY GOD LOOK AT ME DOING SOMETHING AS A CELEBRITY!!! And while it would be really easy for Chris Pratt to say nothing, or take the leftist anti-police position because that's what celebrities do, he focused more on the good things police do. You know, like most Americans. This is why we love Mr. Pratt and have big crushes on him. Crushes with man hearts and man smiley faces, obviously. He puts his career at risk by advertising and advocating for decency. Yeah, sadly sharing the police love isn't really the "popular" thing in Hollywood.

We can't be sure, but we have a sneaking suspicion Chris Pratt felt moved to share the police story because Tarantino is out there being a rabble-rousing turd monkey.
