A woman got mad at a Chipotle worker and decided the most logical and productive thing to do at that moment was to assault the poor employee and throw her burrito bowl at her. Because that is totally what a mentally stable person would do in that situation.

“A woman, Rosemary Hayne, who threw a bowl of hot food into the face of a Chipotle worker, has been sentenced to one month in jail, along with an additional two months of employment in a fast-food position.

Videos capturing the incident, where Hayne berated Chipotle worker Emily Russell on September 5 and subsequently hurled food at her face from close range, went viral. Hayne, a 39-year-old mother of four, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge and received the sentence last week in the municipal court of Parma, Ohio. Judge Timothy Gilligan provided her with the option of a 90-day jail sentence or a 30-day jail term coupled with 60 days of working in a fast-food job.”

As you can see, this woman was not queso-ing around.

Surprisingly, she has no prior criminal record, according to the outlet. But do you think this will be the end of the beginning? Will her nonexistent rap sheet cease to exist? I am not sure. All I can tell you is that most productive members of society do not act like that.

Now, the real question here is who the heck is going to hire her?

It is not clear exactly what was wrong with her Chipotle bowl. But I was a Chipotle fan for quite some time until their steak started becoming way too chewy. And not the good kind of chewy. It is inedible. It is nasty. But I never threw my food at the worker. I simply stopped giving them my business. But some people just hate their lives so much that attacking a poor innocent fast food worker might be the only form of “control” they feel they have.

Who knows. I am trying to make sense of a situation where “sense” does not exist.

But the dumbest thing in this situation is her "punishment."

This is a stupid punishment. I know we are hoping she gets a slap in the face and will learn that dealing with people like herself is not the best thing in the world. Heck, maybe she might even learn the word “patience”. Actually, I highly doubt she will learn much of anything.

It is time we put an end to this woke "restorative justice" crap. It is this sort of ideology that puts other people's safety at risk. It is the lack of consequences for people's degenerate actions that make these things far too common.

She really should spend time in jail. A long time. Her temper alone has proved she is a danger to society. No amount of time working at the cash register will fix that. Especially if she is paid.

I think the last person I would want to handle my food would be this lady. With how unpleasant this woman seems, it is not fair to punish the other workers like this. I also don’t like how the judge is equating someone's living to jail time. And since when does punishment include a wage?
