Normally, Cher is a party-line lefty without two brain cells to rub together. Though, that's not to say she's incapable of transcending her leftist ways and moving up a couple of IQ points. That's exactly what Cher's doing right here. All of a sudden, she's not so keen on the idea of sanctuary cities.

Pop icon Cher has suddenly had a dramatic change of heart on mass immigration after President Trump threatened to dump illegals in the “sanctuary city” where she lives. Previously, Cher had demanded, “Anyone who can must take a dreamer in2 their home & protect them!! I’m ready 2 do this & others in my business will do the same!! Sanctuary.”

In a tweet posted Sunday, Cher said, “I understand helping struggling immigrants but my city (Los Angeles) isn’t taking care of its own.” She went on to urge that more focus be put on native homeless people than illegal immigrants.

Well, whaddaya know.

I guess the taco trucks and cheap landscaping aren't all they're cracked up to be. Up until five minutes ago, Cher was all about flooding the cities with immigrants. Now, she's singing a different tune. Better late than never, I guess.

This tweet sounds like it came straight from Trump's orange mouth. By the look of it, Cher isn't gonna be serenading the illegal pendejos populating Hollywood with "I Got You Babe." Maybe next she'll be praising the free market. Coming out in favor of boomstickery. Declaring "universal healthcare" to be a giant suckfest.

Lefties are alright with sanctuary cities in theory. When it comes to actually putting them into practice, not so much. It goes to show the left's so-called convictions are a giant pile of bullhickey.
