Harvard Kicks Chelsea Manning Out of Fellowship Following Massive Backlash

Brodigan
September 15, 2017

Harvard University had made traitorous transsexual Chelsea Manning a visiting fellow. Not everyone was down with that (see Former CIA Director Resigns from Harvard After Chelsea Manning is Appointed Visiting Fellow). You know, what with him/her being a traitor convicted of espionage, who was pardoned by Barack Obama for no other reason than the trans community is the leftist's community du jour. That's all s/he's known for. That's the only contribution h/she has made to public life.

That, and excessive use of emojis on Twitter. Apparently s/he feels s/he has some catching up to do as a 13-year old girl. Which, now I think of it, is rather offensive to thirteen-year-old girls.

Well, it would appear the bad publicity has gotten to Harvard, because while h/she can speak there, s/he is no longer a fellow. And the jokes write themselves.

Douglas W. Elmendorf stressed that Manning is still invited to talk with students and then host a forum where she would be asked “hard questions” about her story. He said the school never had any intention to honor her or endorse “any of her words or deeds.”

“I apologize to her and to the many concerned people from whom I have heard ... for not recognizing upfront the full implications of our original invitation,” he wrote.

" ... we are withdrawing the invitation to her to serve as a Visiting Fellow—and the perceived honor that it implies to some people—while maintaining the invitation for her to spend a day at the Kennedy School and speak in the Forum," Elmendorf wrote.

I guess kudos to Harvard for realizing they messed up, and not doubling down on it. Still, giving a somewhat honorary title to an American traitor, simply because now they go by a more girlish name, was a big boo-boo no-no to start. But again, they see the error of their honorary ways and at least waived the title.

Which goes to show the left isn't the only side which can raise a stink when the situation warrants it. Plenty of God-loving Americans took issue to a traitor being honored in any capacity. Even if that traitor subscribes to Victoria's Secret for the stylings of the 100 Ways Bra.
