Video: Chainsaw-Wielding Nun Helps Miami-Dade with Irma Clean-Up
Hurricane Irma has brought out the good in people, the bad in people, and the chainsaw wielding bada** in people. I need to watch my mouth, we have holy company in this post. Presenting a nun using a chainsaw to help with clean-up after Irma (see Video: Hurricane Irma Looters Get Busted By Local News Team! and Sick: ISIS Says Hurricane Irma is a soldier of Allah).
Sister Margaret Ann was spotted at work by an off-duty officer of the Miami-Dade Police Department, which posted video and images from the scene Tuesday.
The department calls the sister's work another sign that Miami's community will work together to repair what Irma broke, writing on its Facebook page, " Thank you Sister and all of our neighbors that are working together to get through this!"
"The road was blocked, we couldn't get through," Sister Margaret Ann told CNN. "And I saw somebody spin in the mud and almost go into a wall, going off the road. So, there was a need, I had the means — so I wanted to help out."
By using the chainsaw, the nun said, she was trying to live up to something her school teaches its students: "Do what you can to help."
I have seen it all. I can die happily and peacefully.
This sister did more than whip out her rosary beads to say a few Hail Marys. She asked "What can I do besides virtue signal on Twitter? What can I do besides changing my Facebook avatar to reflect the state of Florida, so all my 230 friends know I have all the caring power of animated bears?" So she took up a chainsaw and started hacking away. Habit and all.

"Chainsaw Nun" coming to a Christian theatre nearest you. She's here, she has no fear. She's hacking injustice one limb at a time. It's a work in progress. If you have a problem with it, go tell someone who cares.
Speaking of Western people being bada**es, do Christian values make them that way?
