Cecile Richards Uses #AltonSterling Shooting to Push... 'Reproductive Justice'?!
It's no secret that we think Planned Parenthood's CEO is a horrific human being (see Cecile Richards Defends Planned Parenthood Before Congress…Makes Shocking Admissions and Dear Leftists: If There’s Nothing Wrong with Abortion, Why Are you Hiding It So?). To be honest, we think anyone who actively advocates for the butchery of unborn children is horrific. But after the Alton Sterling shooting, Cecile Richards sunk to an even lower low.
We understand if you're currently experiencing this:
How the heck does a person being shot equate to "reproductive justice"?
First, let's talk about what reproductive justice is. Well, besides a ridiculous catchphrase created by Planned Parenthood's high priced PR firm, Richards said this: “full reproductive autonomy is more than having a constitutional right. But involves better access to birth control, and in some places better access to abortion services...which have "been unevenly distributed” based on ability to pay."
Which clarifies nothing when it comes to Alton Sterling. Sorry for the seemingly insensitive remarks which follow, but I fail to see how Alton Sterling is ever going to worry about birth control or access to abortion services. Or am I missing something?
Let's set aside the fact that Richards is standing on the corpses of people to make a case for abortion for a second and focus on something else. The CEO of an organization whose founder wanted to "exterminate the negro population" - claims that a black man being killed by a cop is proof that the black community needs more abortions.
Well excuse me, but that's completely backwards. If we want to honor life, if we want to honor black lives, maybe we should start by not snuffing them in the womb. Trivia time, Ms. Richards (but I bet she's already aware of this one), black people are already overwhelmingly aborted, far more than whites (despite the black population making up 12 percent of America, they make up to 35 % of abortions). Mission accomplished for Margaret Sanger on this one.
So Cecile Richards is a rich white woman who makes fat stacks on the legal, systemic slaughter of unborn children. Millions of whom are black. Then uses the Alton Sterling case to continue pushing her baby-killing agenda. Ask us again why we hate her guts.
But here's the larger point: if black lives matter, than maybe #BlackLivesMatter should consider protesting outside of Planned Parenthood's corporate headquarters. Because certain people there obviously don't think black lives matter. Unless those black lives have been cut short, and their parts are being sold...
