While no politician is perfect, we're pretty big fans of Carly Fiorina, aka the Conservative Honey Badger, aka Margret Thatcher 2.0, aka if you're going to go anti-establishment, at least go with someone who knows what the hell they're talking about.

Which isn't to say she shouldn't be scrutinized. All candidates running for the White House should be asked tough questions, and their backgrounds studied. Imagine if we'd done a little more research on a certain Hope and Changer.

This video of Carly could've potentially put her in a tough spot as she praises Hillary Clinton. Watch:

Some historical context: In May of 2008, the McCain campaign made a play for the Hillary supporters, who under siege by the rabid Obama supporters (HOPE AND CHANGE, BEYOTCH), as well as causing mischief while the Democrat primary was still going on. Noble causes, even if the McCain camp failed miserably.

It's still a legit issue for Carly Fiorina to have to answer for, which she does around the 3:00 mark. Is Hillary hard working? Is she a liar? We're waiting...

Both those statements are true. She is very hard working. She is very intelligent. I think she is empathetic. She's very focused. She has dedicated her life to public service. All that is true. AND, she's lied! She's lied about Bengazi. She's lied about her emails. She's lied about her server. And I do not think we can permit her to become President of the United States. Both of those things are true.

What could have been an awkward moment was transformed into a very potent insult toward Hillary Clinton. A true insult at that. Well, played.

See calling Hillary Clinton smart, is not an invalid compliment. She's smart enough to have gotten away with lies/murder. Praising your opponent's strong suits can only serve to highlight your strength when you beat said opponent. If you just call everybody a "loser," well guess what... all you did at the end of the day was beat a bunch of losers. Sound impressive? Didn't think so.

It's for this same reason that combat champions, when matched up unevenly with an incredible underdog, will often attempt to build their opponent up in order to highlight their own accomplishments. It's the exact opposite tactic of a bully, who only wants to fight scrubs.
