California Assemblyman: Deny Tax Breaks to Companies Building Trump's Wall
California is what we back in the day would call bass ackwards. They are pro-illegal immigration, yet anti-tax breaks. Kinda schizophrenic about the last one too. They want to erase the Trump tax cuts. Yet they are worried people will leave because taxes are too high. Math being a confusing social construct and all that. Like gender. If you wonder why we label the left as crazy, wonder no more.
One Assemblyman found a way to combine everything. Some companies want to help Trump build a wall to keep illegal immigrants out. Assemblyman Ting wants to take away any tax breaks they get if they succeed.
Assemblyman Phil Ting (D-San Francisco), who wields substantial influence in the creation of state tax policy as Assembly budget committee chairman, has been among the vocal opponents to the border wall, calling it counterproductive to the state’s economic growth and “a symbol of weakness and hate to the world.”
He plans to present his proposal to an Assembly committee on Monday, and the bill is expected in print next week. It would prevent companies that profit from the wall’s construction from receiving some tax credits, such as those given for hiring new employees, buying or using certain manufacturing and research equipment or for promoting alternative energy and advanced transportation.
Let me see if I have this right. Companies are given tax breaks, presumably, to help grow their businesses. Help the economy. Create jobs for Californians. Californians that would be working in jobs to build the wall. Californians who would pay taxes.
This Assemblyman wants to take those tax breaks away if the company builds a wall to stop people from another country coming in. Which, according to a new study, cost taxpayers a lot of money via welfare, crime and drugs.
Also, Trump won in a free election. This Assemblyman is not taking his ball to go home. He's popping everyone else's ball because "it's not fair."
Here's where leftists politicians lose even moderates who don't list immigration as a top concern. You're elected to office in America to help American citizens. Yet these "leaders" never miss a chance to side with people here illegally. They jump on that like a Womyn's Now support group jumps on that last piece of cheesecake.
This is how we get more Trump. California Commies will vote for whoever gives them the D. It's the rest of the country that's turned off by the constant virtue signalling.
