Caitlyn Jenner: Yes, People are Intolerant. Of Me Being Conservative...
Caitlyn Jenner has faced a lot of intolerance since deciding he was a woman, and she/he addressed that intolerance at a recent college speech. Was it because he's a dude in a dress? No. Intolerance because he sounds like a Batman villain while wearing mascara? Keep guessing. Is it because he/she still has a tallywacker? Wrong again.
People give him/her a hard time...for being conservative.
After a question from a student, the former Olympic runner Bruce Jenner and Kardashian husband-turned-I Am Cait star Jenner admitted “I have gotten more flak for being a conservative Republican than I have for being trans.”
A student had asked why Jenner wasn’t an ardent Democrat, given the party’s embrace of transgender rights.
As journalist and author Buzz Bissinger, who was listed as the evening’s interviewer but was often unable to get a word in edgewise, said, “Just because you change gender doesn’t mean you change your core beliefs.”
LwC readers aren't shocked by this (see Liberals Outraged That Caitlyn Jenner Is Still Conservative and ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner Not Sure About Supporting Gay Marriage. Liberals Outraged…). Leftists telegraphed this last year, when he was still Bruce. They were excited at him being transgender. Not so much him still being Republican.
Which pretty much confirms something we already knew, doesn't it? Liberals are super tolerant of people they agree with. But put a hairy-peep toe out of the party line?
Secondly, Caitlyn Jenner is a dude in a dress. Also, he killed a woman. With his/her car. Remember that hilarious joke from Ricky Gervais? Read Ricky Gervais Skewers Overly-Sensitive Hollywood. PC Liberals Rage... But of all the things about Jenner which someone might object to, what Jenner is getting the most beef about is voting for someone with an R after their name.
Not being a dude in a dress. Not a guy who killed a woman with his/her car. Nope, all of that is totes fine with leftists. But being a conservative?
Remember that next time you hear some politician talking about wanting to "work with the Democrats." If you think the liberals in political office think any differently then the liberals you and I encounter on a daily basis, think again. To liberals there is nothing worse than being a conservative.
