We’d said from the beginning that the left was going to make it so that Bruce Jenner wanting to chop his funparts off and call himself Caitlyn wasn’t as weird as his being a Republican. One can be tolerated, the other must be snuffed out. Because being a Republican is intolerant, so it can’t be tolerated… in the name of tolerance. Confused? Stop being racist.
Well, we’ve been right so far.
Another example? Caitlyn Jenner’s response on gay marriage just wasn’t good enough for the left.
“At first, I was not for it. I thought, ‘I’m a traditionalist.’ I kind of liked tradition, and it’s always been a man and a woman. And I’m thinking, ‘I don’t quite get it.’ But as time has gone on, I think like a lot of people on this issue have really changed their thinking here. I don’t want to stand in front of anybody’s happiness. That’s not my job. If that word ‘marriage’ is really, really that important to you, I can go with it. And so…”
Ellen thought it sounds like s/he was not fully on board with gay marriage, to which Caitlyn responded…
“No, I’m on board. It is going to be pretty much the law of the land. I still feel like I’m okay with that, because I don’t want to stand on somebody’s happiness.”
Now, to a rational person, that means you support gay marriage.
To liberals? You are equivocating. Also, it’s outrageous. See Ellen Degeneres and Howard Stern’s reaction here.
It’s not enough to just say it’s the law. It’s not enough to give a damn one way or the other. Unless you are emotionally in tears about how wonderful it is and attacking anyone who disagrees with you, you just simply aren’t pro-gay marriage enough.
Even if you’re Caitlyn Jenner.
