You think one would have to have accomplished some great deed, some great charitable act, shown outstanding character that set them at least a little apart from any other woman. I met a lady this week while working at the local animal pet shelter, she didnt tell me, but others did, that She has donated enough money to have kept the shelter open and helped save thousands of dogs, given them medical treatment and found them homes- all without murdering another human while texting. I think you may find that most of the ire is the result of Ms. Jenner’s having done nothing particularly impressive. If merely announcing that she believes herself to be a woman makes her Woman of the Year, why isn’t the award handed out yearly to every woman on the planet? If it was given to her because she announced herself as trans, why wasn’t the award given to any one of the numerous other transwomen who transitioned and tried to educate the rest of us about trans people? One of those who’ve actually had GIC surgery, perhaps? Even better, one of those who doesn’t have a cocoon of money and security guards between them and the bigots.
One day Ms. Jenner may actually do something that makes her worth looking up to. But so far, her ‘hero’ resume includes;
1) a photo shoot after hours with a top skin care/makeup team, a fashion consultant and a wardrobe budget bigger than some people’s yearly salary,
2) a post-Olympic career as a publicity hound with Team Kardashian
3) a criminal charge that miraculously disappeared.

She goes to work every day on public transit, which takes more sheer courage than Caitlyn Jenner would know what to do with. Yeah, I know. Not very glamorous, not very dramatic, not likely to make her a media darling and the idol of transpeople everywhere. But by acting like an ordinary woman and a competent professional day in and day out, she’s doing more to show people that trans people are just ordinary people who were born with a disparity between their minds and their bodies than Ms. Jenner did with her photo shoot or will with her ‘unreality’ show.
Ms. Jenner wants to do reality, let’s see her at job interviews — and not after a stint with a professional makeup team or wearing more than I make in a month. Let’s see her on public transit without a camera crew very much in evidence or coping with one of the nuts who use religion as an excuse for dispensing with their sense and their manners — without her security guards, that is. She might get a dose of what reality is for an unfortunately large number of trans people. She actually does that, I’ll support her getting her next award. In an interview with Caitlyn’s mom, her mom made a connection from Caitlyn’s childhood. “When Bruce was a very young child I remember taking him to our local toy store for his birthday so he could pick something out for himself. When we got there he picked up a Barbie doll and said ‘I want this one’. This was a very strange moment for me because my son rather have had a Barbie doll than a masculine toy.” So this clearly supports that it is not the person’s fault for being transgender.
So I will conclude with this, instead of voicing your opinion with absolutely no evidence about transgender people, please do your research and then come back to me and provide your proper evidence. Yes, your opinion matters but only when you can explain why otherwise you just look ignorant because you just “don’t approve.”

If you are transgender/gay/whatever and think within your heart of hearts that its normal and alright, then why do they try so hard in regards to being accepted? I thought they did not care what others have thought about them? That is what I do not get. They say that they are fine with how they were “born this way”, but run out and speak out the loudest and demand that they be accepted.
