BREAKING: Science Finds That Men and Women are Different
After millennia of men and women living together, easily observing the obvious differences between men and women, science is now here to blow our minds. Men and women are, in fact, born different. Dear God I hope you were sitting down for that veritable brain-explosion. Turns out that male brains are different than female brains. What in the actual living hell, right? I need to take the rest of the day to process all this. Jesus God.
From The Sun:
The conclusion is a controversial one, as many experts think social influences are more important to the distinctive ways that men and women think.
But scientists at New York University Langone say they've narrowed down a biological root after they took brain scans of more than 100 foetuses in the womb.
The conclusion isn't controversial at all. It's only controversial to people who proclaim to "believe in science" while believing they can change whatever they are just by consulting a cricket and wishing upon a star. Because guess who's not at all surprised that men and women have different brains: most everyone. Specifically scientists. Those are people who study science. Not to be confused with those people who believe in personal truths, gender spectrums, and the vast intellect of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Study author Professor Moriah Thomason said she was not surprised by the finding.
"There were many differences in the organisation of male and female foetal brains. That's what I would expect."
Right. Because if males and females were the same, as in not different, we wouldn't be male or female. We'd just be. The sex differences are obvious to anyone in possession of at least two of the five senses. Men and women look different, sound different, we often smell differently, feel differently, and based on the study here, we think differently. Based on our having differently wired brains.
Girl produced more "long-range" neuron networks as they matured in the womb.
While it's impossible to know how this changes the way women think, differences in boys' brains were easier to decode.
Their connections were found to be more changeable than girls'. This may explain why men are more "vulnerable" than women, according to Professor Thomason.
"Males are more susceptible to environmental influences than female babies," she said.
For those keeping score: men have male brains, women have female brains. Men have had male brains since before birth, and women have had female brains since before birth. Long before a person grew up and figured out they could get a few extra societal woke points by declaring themselves the opposite of what they actually are. You are male or you are female, as determined by everything about you. No spectrums. No gender identities. No societal influences. You cannot blame feeling feminine on your nursery being painted pink or blue, green or yellow. You cannot blame feeling masculine on your dad buying you a catching mitt.
It's 2019. We're still writing stories about that which should be blindingly obvious and lacking all controversy: men and women are different.
