With all the female genital mutilation, liberal outrage, and mother of all bombing, it's time for a change of pace as we head into the Easter weekend. 'Tis a time for celebrating miracles, after all. Like the miracle of life, which the left wants to hulk smash into tiny pieces. Then sell said pieces.

Well, here's a tear jerker. When this blind couple became pregnant, they were worried about not being able to see what their child looked like. Until they were given the opportunity to feel their unborn baby via new technology...

Ana Paula Silveira and Alvaro Zermiani, both legally blind, were ... offered the opportunity to have a 3D-printed ultrasound, through GE Healthcare's technology, at an institute in Rio de Janeiro. GE Healthcare's Voluson E10 is the first ultrasound system in the OB/GYN field to have a 3D printing capability built directly into the system.

"There was a 3D-printing project going on in 2007, where Computed Tomography was being used to image fossils and mummies at the National Museum of Brazil," Werner said. "I thought, 'Why not use this technology to print fetuses?'"

In 2012, Werner started providing the service for visually impaired women, free of charge. Dr. Werner provided three ultrasounds for each trimester of Silveira's pregnancy that the couple was able to take home with them.

These are the stories that remind us just how precious unborn life is. Instead of having to rely on other people describing their child's appearance to them, these parents could actually "see" their baby's face.

Let's take a moment to appreciate what this doctor is doing for people. Free of charge. Out of his own will, mind you. He wasn't forced to offer his services for free, but chose to do so because he wanted to help people. See the difference, socialists? Actual kindness can't be government mandated.
