Socialist Bernie Sanders Accuses Trump of Cozying Up to Authoritarians
Here's a real knee-slapper for you. Bernie Sanders, or the millennial Brooklynite hipster intern manning his Twitter, just tried slamming the Donald for palling around with authoritarians. Yes, seriously:
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) questioned President Trump's relationships with world leaders on Sunday, saying he found it strange that Trump had difficulty "getting along" with U.S. allies, but was "comfortable" working with authoritarian leaders."I find it very strange that President Trump has such a hard time getting along with the leaders of the world's major democracies but feels very comfortable with despots and authoritarian leaders like [Vladimir] Putin, Xi Jinping, [Rodrigo] Duterte and Mohammad Bin Salman," Sanders said in a tweet, referring to the leaders of Russia, China, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia.
Yes, Bernie Sanders, the guy famous for telling Americans we have too many choices of underarm deodorant, is pulling the "authoritarians" card.
This is the same Bernie Sanders who thought Soviet Russia was the perfect honeymoon hotspot. Thinks breadlines are the bee's knees. Proudly champions the causes of his fellow Communist doucheburritos. He hypes up one of the most authoritarian systems known to man, yet Donnie Trump is the despot.
Trump may not be the most likable bloke, but the majority of his policies so far have been anything but authoritarian. He's stealing less of our greenbacks. Axing regulations like it's Friday the 13th. Getting people off welfare and into the workforce. The exact opposite of what comrade Sanders would do if elected.
Bernie can whine about authoritarianism until the ghost of Lenin carries him to the Politburo in the sky. Anyone who isn't a braindead lefty dunce knows who the real authoritarian is in this scenario.
Speaking of that:
