Ben Sasse wasn't screwing around. He took to the floor of the Senate to issue a challenge, that if you defend infanticide, as the Virginia governor did this week, get out of public office. He also introduced his own legislation to defend children from abortion.

Ben Sasse, once again, is right. This shouldn't be a hard issue. It shouldn't involve your politics. Yes or no, do you support infanticide? Yes or no, do you support the killing of a child? A born child. We're no longer talking inside the womb here. All your false, desperate arguments about "it's a woman's body" and "it's woman's healthcare" mean dog shit when a baby is on a table, born.

If you support the killing of a little boy or girl, born, you have no business in public office. Frankly, in my opinion, you have no business almost anywhere aside from a special place a fallen angel keeps perpetually toasty. I will not walk that back.

The line is drawn. There is no common ground when one side openly advocates the killing of children.
