Ben Carson Schools Idiot Wolf Blitzer on Gun Control in Nazi Germany

Courtney Kirchoff  Thursday October 8 2015

Ben Carson is unstoppable. He’s like a train, not fueled with coal but unicorn dreams and yellow smily faces. Well today Carson met with Wolf “Lowest Score on Celebrity Jeopardy Ever” Blitzer, who has just as many brain cells as a stapler. Or a fish bowl. It’s a toss up.

What did they discuss? Guns, race and Nazis. I’m going to give you three guesses as to which of these two men sounded like a brain surgeon and which sounded like a fart machine a teenage boy buys at a joke shop. Three guesses. The video is seven minutes long, and the Nazi discussion begins about half way through. Sure, I could’ve clipped the video to the gun parts, but let’s be real here. Wolf “Lowest Score on Celebrity Jeopardy Ever” Blitzer gets spanked hard and continues to get spanked by Mr. Nicest Guy Ever. It’s good TV. Grab a snack and watch:

The likelihood of Hitler being able to accomplish their goals would be greatly diminished if the people were armed.

There’s a reason these dictatorial people take the guns first.

Many of these places where mass shootings occur are gun-free zones…these people select these places because they know they’re not going to get shot.

Ben Carson, ladies and gentleman. I almost feel like he should be handicapped somehow as he talks with ignoramuses. Then I think, nah, screw fairness, it’s fun watching these pundits get their suitcase clocks cleaned. Keep on keeping on, Doc. You’re doing great.

Wow what a thorough interview; Wolf was just firing off questions right and left trying to get to the bottom of Dr. Carson’s position on this. I am sure that Wolf will be just as diligent and forceful when he interviews Hillary on why she had top secret emails on her private email server.

    • Daniel October 8, 2015 at 8:11 pm

Could not agree more. Wolf will ask Hillary what her favorite color is and where she likes to eat out. Media is so biased and Carson called Wolf out on it, and of course Wolf didn’t have an intelligent response lol

      • Maxine October 8, 2015 at 11:43 pm

If Blitzer didn’t have a script before him nothing would come out of his mouth. He can’t think for himself.Gotta be wrtten out. What a dumb a__!!#!

        • Paul Black October 9, 2015 at 8:47 am

So your saying..he is just like you. Can only say what someone else has said befor. Just like y’all spout your right wing paranoid bullcrap. You guys! So damn funny/stupid/ridiculous.

          • Marybeth October 9, 2015 at 8:57 am

Wolf Blitzer and CNN possess a innate ability to extract all context so as to push their left wing agenda to feed their otherwise unsuspecting viewers. However, Carson displays so much wisdom in this interview and
displays so much wisdom in this interview and pretty much exploited Wolf’s and CNN’s attempt to misconstrue his words. Glad to see the truth win here despite media’s biased agendas. Well done, Dr.Carson.

          • Mike October 9, 2015 at 10:36 am

You’re an idiot and a hypocrite. You speak of propaganda while your disgusting leftist president uses the death of people as his propadanda. You vote to willingly disarm people and steal their freedom to own a gun that can protect their family simply because u are a coward. Without guns in this country the government will not listen to the people they will own the people. The people who created the constitution put the right to weapon ownership because they knew without it then the government wouldnt be by the people, of the people and for the people. The government would own the people. So you sit there on the side lines and let the real men and women defend your rights for you.

          • Libtards Blow October 9, 2015 at 2:32 pm

Typical Libtard, bash the person when they speak the truth!

      • Virgil Seagle October 9, 2015 at 2:47 pm

Someone on the Today Show asked Hillary “I f you were a tree, what kind would you be?” Honest to God!

    • Boosh October 9, 2015 at 8:16 am

All I kept hearing was the words, “You’re taking that out of context.” something we’ve never heard from a career politician, because they make their lives out of being able to talk around it and dodge the subject. This guy tells it straight up and out, without getting angry or mean. On one point, hindsight being 20/20, when Wolfe mentioned the guy who wrote in to CNN about his outrage to Carson’s comments, I being him would have told Wolfe that I would love to sit down with this guy and have a discussion with him to get to the bottom of his anger problem. Guys like that who write into a 250K viewer-ship news show to complain, would not be willing to do the same thing up front and personal. Funny, as I was writing that last statement, I began to wonder if this guy even exists at all, since it comes from one of the most untrusted news sources out there, since the first election of our current president?!…

  2. James Pruitt October 8, 2015 at 7:10 pm

    Ben is the man.

    • Paul Black October 9, 2015 at 8:48 am

for being a dick? Couldnt agree more..Ben Carson is a man with a serious brain trauma.

      • Tyler October 9, 2015 at 10:52 am

        Nice comeback! (sarcasm)

      • Virgil Seagle October 9, 2015 at 2:52 pm

That’s the way Paul You leftists can’t discuss issues. You just throw out D hominem attacks and call those who disagree with you names. So lame. But typical. Now reply like a petulant child. Go ahead, personally insult me. You know you want to.

        • Dave October 9, 2015 at 4:23 pm

Respectfully, the post itself specified that Blitzer was dumber than a stapler, sounded like a fart machine, and was an ignoramus. In my view, that’s pretty stilted language, and non-conducive to reasonable discourse. If Blitzer is being maligned because he’s brazenly partisan – a sentiment that I would agree with, by the way – then I would ask why this very website escapes your wrath? It’s positively laden with unflattering rhetoric. That, along with brands like “Libtard” being bantied around suggest to me that insults and closed ears isn’t exactly a partisan matter. Just my two cents.

  3. Susie October 8, 2015 at 7:36 pm

Wow. Good slapdown Dr. Carson! Weasel Wolf didn’t know what hit him.

    • Paul Black October 9, 2015 at 8:46 am

Funny, but the fact that Blitzer came away with credit to the worlds media..and Carson like a total twat..makes your comment seem//idiotic.

      • john October 11, 2015 at 1:40 pm

Please… enlighten us. Just how does Carson come off as a twat? Because he believes in the Constitution and feels we should all have our freedoms? Because he thinks that we should fight back? (a sentiment that I completely agree with. No, I don’t know how I would react to a murderous gunman, but would like to think that I would not wait to be executed, but fight instead) Carson was completely polite and defended himself when Wolf took his comments out of context to fabricate a controversy. Just what, exactly, is it that offends you so much? Do you have a reason? Or are you just following what the liberals want you to think?

        • Locial Leo October 12, 2015 at 9:12 pm

Rest assured, Paul Black will not be back with any level of intelligent response. Simply — he has been told that he doesn’t like Ben Carson and so it is. He and his ilk have no idea why they don’t because they have no idea what Dr. Carson is about. His Liberal brethren will continue to have their rights chipped away while being told the taste in their mouth is sweet.

    • Mark Hayward October 13, 2015 at 12:46 am

The Problem with Liberals is that they are too Ignorant to even know when they are wrong and that they have lost the argument.

  4. Moe Reece October 8, 2015 at 7:46 pm

In 1972 we had armed off duty policemen in uniform walking the halls of Miramar High School. One of them is a personal friend to this day. There is nothing wrong with protecting schools, malls, restaurants, hotels, offices, pulic buildings or any place with qualified armed personnel. Dr. Carson is exactly right on target.

  5. Richard Harrell October 8, 2015 at 7:53 pm

Wolf poor wolf . No chance he ha no chance

  6. Melissa October 8, 2015 at 8:02 pm

    “Suitcase clocks”! Epic.

  7. Emerson Bolen October 8, 2015 at 8:29 pm

Hey Wolf Blitzer, please read the Leon Uris book “Mila 18” where Polish Jews, ARMED in a Warsau ghetto resisted the Nazi invasion.

    • Jason Jehosephat October 9, 2015 at 3:47 pm

So the point is that those Jews WERE armed, and somehow that didn’t prevent 13,000 of them from being slaughtered and the ghetto from being burned to the ground, right?

      • Locial Leo October 12, 2015 at 9:21 pm

Burned to ground — but not before those in the ghetto took the lives of many of the Germans who came for them. They came to slaughter them like helpless sheep as they had done so many times before and were surprised and amazed by the force they encountered. Now… what if guns had NOT been confiscated and everyone was armed? If guns were confiscated or greatly diminished in the United States as the Democrats desire, it would be just as easy for a takeover here. Yes, there would be a few brave men who weren’t idiots and allowed their guns to be taken who would fight back but it wouldn’t be enough – but as a whole we have power.
I would tell you to go ahead and give up your guns but you’re likely too much of a coward to have one to begin with.

      • Mark Hayward October 13, 2015 at 12:57 am

So 13,000 of them who were armed put up considerable resistance. What if 6,000,000 of them were armed.
When the Nazis invaded England very few even had guns. Americans shipped their Hunting Rifles to England so they had something to shoot back at the Nazis with.

Hollanders had all of their Guns Registered. The Germans simply got the Registrations lists all the names and addresses of Gun Owners. They posted a notices. Turn in your guns with in 48 hours or you will be executed. Wow aren’t Gun Registrations helpful?

Also Registered Gun owners were considered more dangerous and watched closer because they may have actually had testicles and already knew how to use a Gun. Which made them more dangerous to the NAZI cause than the unarmed Sheeple.

  8. Richard October 8, 2015 at 8:33 pm

Blitzer and most of the “press” are disgusting.

  9. Serena October 8, 2015 at 8:44 pm

Not only did Ben stand firm on his comments, he made Blitzer look like the bumbling, liberal idiot he is! I love it! Go Ben go!!!

  10. Marcell October 8, 2015 at 8:45 pm

Honduras…gun law….8.2 million, swiszerland.. Everybody are armed…..8.2 million people……take a guess the most dangerous place in the world ?……

  11. john October 8, 2015 at 8:48 pm

what an absolute idiot, that is wolf blitzer… wonder how he protects himself. It is so enjoyable watching how the good Dr. handles himself.

  12. ken October 8, 2015 at 9:06 pm

I suppose it doesn’t bother anyone that carson is completely inaccurate in his assessment of gun contril laws in post WW1 germany? hitler in fact reduced the gun control laws that were put in place by the weimar republic. but hey, never let truth get in the way of a good story.

    • chrisfrommactown October 8, 2015 at 9:42 pm

As Larry King used to say on his old radio show when a total ditzo would call and say something really stupid. “They give him one call a month from the home and he calls here”. Ken is allowed one post a week and he claims Hitler loosened gun restrictions. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

      • Chip October 9, 2015 at 1:32 am

Actually he’s 100% correct. Facts like this are easily attainable in the modern age. You should look them up. The German government after WW1 had harsh gun laws that hitler eased or virtually eliminated all together. Once again Dr “Shoot the Popeyes boy” is totally and absolutely devoid of facts.

        • Bret October 9, 2015 at 2:03 pm

A little MORE reading would show you that you’re only half right. Ben Carson’s book made the claim that anti-Jewish propaganda in conjunction with taking away guns led to the deaths of 6 million Jews. He also said that it occurred in the late 1930s. So, what you’ve said is only kind of relevant considering that there are two things happening here. The Nazis did lower gun restrictions (for the Germans) but in 1938 the Jews were no longer allowed to buy ammunition or manufacture weapons.

His claim is that causing the Germans to hate the Jews, in conjunction with disarming the Jews, led to 6 million casualties. Maybe he seemed misleading to you with his statistics, but nothing he said was untrue.

  13. Tim October 8, 2015 at 9:13 pm

I love the video but can’t share as i find the reference to wolf as an idiot in the tag to be classless. Why not “educates” blitzer otherwise the partisan vitriolic nature just alienates those who might be open to watching.

    • Protect Defend October 9, 2015 at 12:17 am

Ben did well, but I wish he would have called Wolf out when he started asking sensationalist “gotcha” questions such as “do you believe kindergarten teachers should be armed”.

I would have called him out on that, and told him this is the exact reason why 1) no one respects the media anymore 2) no one watches cnn anymore, and 3) the media as we know it is on the way out.

    • Margaret October 9, 2015 at 12:25 pm

Tim, the headline is meant to be inflammatory–as are most of the comments. Candidate interviews these days (or more particularly the internet news/comment machine) have become less about discovering someone’s views or goals and more about some sort of verbal sparring match. “Schools idiot Wolf…?” That’s what passes for journalism nowadays? It’s pretty sad.

  14. Tj October 8, 2015 at 9:46 pm

Actually Ben didn’t school Wolf. I’m in no way a fan of CNN or Wolf, and definitely not Hitler, but Ben doesn’t have his facts straight. When Hitler was put in position in 1933, one of the first things he did was relax the gun laws that were in existence Weimar Republic. In fact he actually encouraged and promoted the necessity of Germans (Aryans) to possess guns. Hitler never imposed a national gun control law. In 1938, another National Law was passed that relaxed the gun laws even more, with one exception, restricting the Jews and Gypsies from having guns, people who were not of the nation of Germany. What that helped lead to was horrific and a stain on humanity. What he did, minus the genocide, would be the equivalent to the United States not allowing foreigners, with Visas and passports, and illegal aliens from possessing guns. The only other people that Hitler disarmed were people in the territories that he invaded, so that they could not rebel. Another piece of history that people are unaware of is that the territory that Hitler invaded…Poland, northeast France, and parts of Belgium were actually land that belonged to Germany prior to the beginning of the first World War, that was taken away from them by France, England, and Russia.

    • cheri October 9, 2015 at 12:09 am

TJ, you made his point. Hitler relaxed the gun laws, but only for Germans. Well, who was it that supported him? Germans! Clearly he did not want Jews and gypsies to have guns. It’s the same thing taking place here. Obama does not want today’s version of Jews and gypsies being armed, which are Christians and non-Christian patriots. Take a look at this:
In 1865 a Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States .

In 1881 a left wing radical Democrat shot James Garfield, President of the United States – who later died from the wound.

In 1963 a radical left wing socialist shot and killed John F. Kennedy, President of the United States.

In 1975 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at Gerald Ford, President of the United States.

In 1983 a registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan, President of the United States .

In 1984 James Hubert, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 22 people in a McDonalds restaurant.

In 1986 Patrick Sherrill, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 15 people in an Oklahoma post office.

In 1990 James Pough, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 10 people at a GMAC office.

In 1991 George Hennard, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 23 people in a Luby’s cafeteria in Killeen , TX .

In 1995 James Daniel Simpson, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 5 coworkers in a Texas laboratory.

In 1999 Larry Asbrook, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 8 people at a church service.

In 2001 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a failed attempt to kill George W. Bush, President of the US …

In 2003 Douglas Williams, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people at a Lockheed Martin plant.

In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung – Hui Cho, shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.

In 2010 a mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner, shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.

In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes, went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.

In 2012 Andrew Engeldinger, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people in Minneapolis .

In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza, shot and killed 26 people in a school in Newtown , CT.

As recently as Sept 2013, an angry Democrat shot 12 at a Navy ship yard.

Clearly, there is a problem with Democrats and guns.

Not one NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservative was involved in any of these shootings and murders.

SOLUTION: It should be illegal for Democrats to own guns

      • C. Grunfeld October 9, 2015 at 3:41 am

And the TParty, the Cons and their Far Right lapdogs seek out those Tabloids, like Mr. Con, InfoWars (Alex Jones), Breitbart, Western Journalism, TPNN, “Chicks on the Right” Lol…, Uncle Sams Mis-Guided Children, BarenakedIslam, and all those Nationalist, Pseudo-Patriotic (“Conservative” just has that better “Ring” to it…) bloggers and the like to suckle at the endless line of BS offered up there. Carson here, did not “School” any damned body. Look up the Gun Control in Nazi Germany. Like so many many things, the TParty, the Cons and the like have to go looking for anything to validate their degenerate mindset and Ideology. It is quite all they have. Nationalist, Pseudo-Patriot, Hate and Fear mongers use the same line in one respect or another wherever they may be.

      • C. Grunfeld October 9, 2015 at 3:46 am

What is interesting, is that Ms. Mercer, the Mother of the “Late” shooter in Oregon declared they were both Conservatives…… Regardless, you can list any number of people that have done whatever and denote them as whatever you want. Most kinds, especially, say, 21 or younger rarely come up with a political affiliation. They generally do not know what they are in that respect. Most, at least most of those I personally know among the Cons and their kind usually say something like “Well, my mother and father are or were (Insert Political belief), so that’s what I am”…. And going on lists like that, please. Try Something else.

      • Paul Black October 9, 2015 at 8:44 am

So many idiots on here. You are an embarrassment to the human race.
you hate Obama because he is black, and that is it..it’s not because he has ever said he wants to take your guns..no..he said we need better controls.
This Carson man may once of been smart enough to be a surgeon, now he has the brain of a slightly more intelligent Limbaugh(which is saying nothing).
Grow up morons, stop reading right wing bul, and go learn for yourself..READ A BOOK if you are not intelligent enough to grasp reality.

      • Paul Black October 9, 2015 at 8:51 am

Sadly 71% of all mas gun crime is committed by Republican voters.
FACT…put that in your pipe and smoke it, Dont preach bull to make yourself look smart..you aint..hand your gun in moron.
You are as mentally incapable as the people you argue against.

        • Jon October 9, 2015 at 9:29 am

Paul, If you go back and read all of the comments on this thread, including yours, you can’t help but conclude you’re an angry and vindictive person who doesn’t know how to argue his point without casting aspersions.
You clearly have little to no understanding of what conservatism is or what it stands for. Ironically, by continuing to assert that Carson is stupid, you really just make the case that you are, in fact, stupid yourself.
And Grunfield, it’s funny that you refer to conservatives as degenerates, when I’m quite positive you would also label them religious (which is well known as Christians). Funny that people who would follow the Bible, the foundation of the country and constitution, would be referred to as degenerates. Kind of takes the winds out of your intellectual sails, don’t you think?
As for the origin of conservatism, I would assert we’re all born that way. It’s somewhat synonymous with “common sense.” It’s only after you suffer something like divorced parents, an emotional trauma or you are exposed to enough angry people who don’t want to face the source that people start becoming liberal.
Oh, and Paul… 71%? Really? You think that statistic is even possible to ascertain? (head shaking…)

        • SweetFig October 9, 2015 at 9:44 pm

I looked for the 71% statistic and could not find it. Would you please cite or link your source?

        • Jeff October 11, 2015 at 2:25 am

Paul, it is NOT a fact that 71% of gun crimes, mass or otherwise, are committed by republican voters, Are you so thick that you think you could pull a number like that out of thin air and have any credibility? The only fact in your posts seems to be that you argue from emotion, not from facts. You’re only embarrassing yourself by ranting this way. Lying about a statistic that is false voids any credibility you might have had.

        • Poor spellor October 11, 2015 at 1:25 pm

Fact: 46.7% of all statistics are made up! Fact if legal gun owners were as horrible and violent as you believe, there would be no anti-gunners left. I think you’ve been smoking something else in your pipe!

    • Asshammer October 9, 2015 at 12:09 am

Blah blah blah…so he ultimately disarmed the people of Germany?…got it…obama doesn’t want to disarm everyone either, only those that believe the 2nd amendment protects American Citizens from a tyrant, foreign or domestic not provide a tool only with which to hunt.

  15. Mike October 8, 2015 at 9:56 pm

Does Wolf Blitzer have a brain in his head?

    • cheri October 9, 2015 at 12:13 am

      Mike,
Why do you ask questions for which you already know the answer? For the billionth time, WOLFDOG BLISTER DOES NOT HAVE A BRAIN!

Of course, I’m kidding with you, my friend; but, seriously, Wolfy does have a brain, but synaptic pruning began a long time ago.

  16. Cheyrl October 8, 2015 at 10:18 pm

I couldn’t get the video….. Did all I could but nada. I am bummed. I am a serious Carson fan!

  17. Scott October 8, 2015 at 10:19 pm

You really shouldn’t insult staplers or dishonest…

  18. James October 8, 2015 at 11:01 pm

I wonder if Wolf Blitzer kept thinking that Dr. Ben Carson was too poor and too black?

  19. Chris October 8, 2015 at 11:21 pm

And people think this man can’t handle his own?…..lol… He’s brilliant and sincere. What else could you want?

  20. Asshammer October 9, 2015 at 12:04 am

Hey wolf…how did it feel to have your ass handed to you?

  21. Andrew October 9, 2015 at 12:11 am

    TJ,
Funny thing was that over 6 million Jews were murdered by Hitler and the Nazi forces. Regular folks could get guns, but the Jews had none. That way their were so many on them gassed, shot or starve to dead. They couldn’t protect themselves because Hitler took them away. Be like us taking all the Christian’s guns or retired Service members, Vets. So he did take their guns so he could kill them easy. He’s burning in Hell now you know. And your wrong. His gun control was one sided, and the Jewish side got murdered…. Reality.

    • Hunter October 10, 2015 at 10:18 am

That’s kinda one sided. Think you need to purchase a history book instead of using some story that has holes in it. Just because because some truth was included doesn’t mean that most of it wasn’t bullshit. Your not advocating freedoms. Your advocating your own views and trying to lace it with fake propoganda.

      • Jeff October 11, 2015 at 2:32 am

Hunter, what Andrew said was historically correct. When Hitler relaxed gun control, he exempted the Jews and gypsies and other ethnic groups. This made imprisoning, exiling and separating them and eventually exterminating them much easier. It left these populations defenseless. Maybe it’s you who needs to purchase a book.

  22. Chuck October 9, 2015 at 12:14 am

Carson does not know history. Germany under Hitler had guns and Hitler loosened gun regulations on German citizens. It was in fact the Jews who ran Germany before Hitler who removed the guns and destroyed the economy. Just once I would like to hear a so called smart person get it right.

    • Charles Ayres October 9, 2015 at 4:36 am

      test test test testy

    • Charles Ayres October 9, 2015 at 4:41 am

Chuck, try reading other comments…Hitler took guns away from Jews and others he felt may be against him, and relaxed laws for those he thought supported him…

  23. Protect Defend October 9, 2015 at 12:15 am

  24. James D. Burke October 9, 2015 at 12:16 am

We can never over estimate the mind of fools. Seems the media is a collection movement for fools.

  25. Doug October 9, 2015 at 6:45 am

Wow, Ben Carson is amazingly well composed under fire. It was fairly obvious that Wolf was trying to rattle him or get him off balance and Mr. Carson was having none of it.

  26. Paul Black October 9, 2015 at 8:53 am

It’s like shooting ducks with you lot. So many fools all in one place..being racist and sheeet. You folk need to get some juju juice and start smoking the gun barrel..you call yourselves Christians..Jesus would be ashamed of you lot,.
Kill yourselves and see how many of you end up in heaven…

    • Tempos October 9, 2015 at 9:58 pm

I have long been considering suicide….you are right Paul…it might be time to stop being cowardly and foolish trying to end it slowly.

    • Jeff October 11, 2015 at 2:46 am

Paul, I’m sure you have NO idea how Jesus would appraise us. It must be difficult to go through life so logic challenged.

  27. Joe October 9, 2015 at 9:58 am

Lets close the Wolf blitzer loophole, It is the legal loophole that allows individuals like Wolf to abuse the 1st amendment and lie to the american people and push an agenda that is anti freedom unconstituional under the guise that he and ilk like him are legitimate reporters. This loop hole has been open way to long and since it is a loophole how about we make illegal.

People this is a parody of the type of logic people like wolf use when there is not a law against something he disagrees with, people like him call it a loop hole.

  28. Patrick Peters October 9, 2015 at 10:05 am

Evenso I might not agree with Dr. Carlson on all his points, I have to give him credits for beeing honest and straight forward in answering all of Blitzer’s questions. A big problems in nowadays politics is, at least in my personal opinion, the lack of clear political positions and straight forward answers. By standing his own ground, Dr. Carlson gives every viewer a clear sight of his personal beliefs and therefore the opportunity to anticipate the position he might take in further debates. First, that’s worth to mention and second, it’s a great way to argue in a sensible topic like this.

  29. kenan October 9, 2015 at 11:04 am

Carson is smarter than every interviewer that tries to stump him and misrepresent his words.

  30. Fred October 9, 2015 at 11:41 am

Great explanation Mike on not allowing the gov. to dissarm the people or they will own the people. And “BEN”, you are the MAN!

  31. Ed FRIZZELL October 9, 2015 at 12:03 pm

This interview was just the usual “sides” talking withing their respective echo chambers. Nothing new and nothing was advanced by either “side.” Dr. Carson held his ground and the communist held his.

  32. Tom Cornett October 9, 2015 at 12:26 pm

Wolf Blitzer, you Sir. are such a DICK how can CNN even call it’s self journalist, people like Blitzer live in a fairy-tale world.

  33. littlemike October 9, 2015 at 12:31 pm

Wolf, there is no “loophole”! (6:57) Take away all the red herrings of the anti-gun left, and they are suddenly without a legitimate argument.

  34. Dustin October 9, 2015 at 1:09 pm

Blitzer knows history. He just chooses to ignore it in favor of his ideology.

To comment on the Comments of Hitler on Gun control…….Yes, he did loosen up gun laws….slightly. This was to let the people be comfortable because he had the list of all the gun owners from the registration process that was forced on the people form the Wiemar republic.

  36. James October 9, 2015 at 7:24 pm

The Nazi/Fascist analogies would be more credible if folks on the Right didn’t also promote the thorough militarization of our society and the limitless arming of the very state that they claim to distrust. If you believe our government to be akin (or possibly akin) to the Nazi regime then giving more power to the “Wehrmacht” seems counter productive, don’t you think?

  37. Benjamin A Thompson October 9, 2015 at 11:45 pm

I can’t believe any educated person would fall for this Con-man’s schtick.

Not only does he have Hitler’s gun policies ass backwards, but I want you to think about this. If you were to arm every Jewish man woman and child in Germany in 1939, you’d have an army of about 500,000. If you armed every other German at that time you have an army of around 65 Million (which includes the actual German military which steamrolled the professional armies of Europe).

  38. Tj October 10, 2015 at 12:03 am

    Louder with Crowder/Seven Crowder,

I appreciate being “blacklisted” from commenting on anything from my previous registered email address. I am still confused as to why I was “blacklisted”. All I stated were factual events, and disagreed with your perception as to how the interview went.

I find it ironic, and sad, that you support First Amendment Rights, as long as they align with your ideology, and incorrect information. I suppose it makes your website, and opinions, look stronger, more accurate, and having an absoluteness to them, if everyone agrees with you and the people that disagree with you no longer have the ability to carry on a legitimate two-sided discussion on events.

    Sincerely,
    Tj McDuffey

PS. If you would like, go ahead and “blacklist” this account also. I have no intentions of coming back. It’s just as easy to comment on your shared posts on social media networks

  39. Chad Reid October 10, 2015 at 4:10 am

Dr. Bernard Carson is a MUSLIM. Don’t listen to that towelhead!

  40. Sly October 10, 2015 at 7:01 am

Worked in schools for 25 years. The training used to be hide from the shooter. We now are trained to fight back–Ben Carson is right about attacking the shooter and about the news.

  41. Simon Dickinson October 10, 2015 at 10:40 am

Pretty sad that this person would resort to taking about Nazi Germany to score points in the gun control debate.

  42. daniel davidson October 10, 2015 at 11:04 am

Simon Dickinson, Nazi Germany is the perfect example of the dangers of disarming the citizens! Hitler started with gun registration. So he knew where the guns were. Then came gun confiscation. Then he did what he wanted. Don’t ever think it couldn’t happen here!

    • Tj October 10, 2015 at 6:28 pm

Hitler was elected into power in 1933. German gun registration was mandatory by an act passed in 1928.

      • Jeff October 11, 2015 at 2:39 am

Tj Gun registration wasn’t the vehicle that removed the guns from ownership it was simply a registration law. When Hitler came to power, he used these registration rolls to identify those to take the guns from.

  43. Stu October 10, 2015 at 12:14 pm

The German people voted Hitler and the Nazis into power. Hitler and the Nazis did not take control of Germany by force. There was no “large” resistance in Germany against Hitler. The few that did resist were murdered, beat up, or sent to concentration camps. I like Ben Carson but, in my opinion, he is wrong on this one.

  44. Ron den Boer October 10, 2015 at 11:33 pm

Sounds like Wolf thinks school teachers are inept on handling guns

  45. JD October 11, 2015 at 12:06 pm

I am 43 and I miss watching the news when it was simply the news. Now you have to “pick” a news source based on your political beliefs? What? When did that creep into existence? As far as guns and Natzi goes, the French underground did a fine job resisting them. I am liking Ben Carson more and more every interview that I actually watch to completion. Instead of relying on “media clips” that are fed to me. If you ever want a wake up call watch the movie soylent green you will find that it has more of our current reality to it. The eating people part isn’t till the very end by the way. Its the creepy story of what this writer thought the world and humans would be like. Scary how close he was to truth. We are at a turning point folks, we really are.

  46. Michael Pennington October 11, 2015 at 1:34 pm

The more Ben Carson talks, the scarier he gets. He was exposed even more on the Wolf show. Carson would be as dangerous as Trump as a President.

  47. Sam paris October 11, 2015 at 8:48 pm

Liberals disparage comments from people like Carson and Trump, usually through insulting name calling, because they do not have the mental facility to reason with intelligent people. So we hear he’s “dangerous,” “deluded,” and “has to resort to a real situation, like Nazi Germany. Like why go there?” Is that the best comment one can come up with?

This is not ‘spam.’ Do links constitute spam??????

What they say during a campaign means nothing. Their records and affiliations, past and present, are all that matter. Questions for your candidate: http://www.freekentucky.com/barry-bright-questions-for-your-candidate

  49. waypasthadenough October 12, 2015 at 5:27 pm

How many links can we include?

The most important ‘private property’ anyone owns is their own life, health, safety, and no one, anywhere, anytime has the ‘right’ to take that from them or deny them their most basic right, that of self defense.

I’ll vote for the candidate that will bring the troops home, activate the militias, and re-invade and re-conquer commiefornia and the other commie enclaves on the left and East coasts.

They’re not ‘leftists,’ ‘liberal’ or ‘progressive.’ They’re communists/globalists. They want us disarmed so we can’t kill them when enough finally wake up to the necessity of doing so.

Our Liberty is dying because of our failure to hunt the “Liberal”(commie) and globalist trash to extinction.

  51. Cindy October 13, 2015 at 2:27 pm

    You’re funny, Crowder.

  52. Michael Smith October 23, 2015 at 8:23 pm

Carson won’t be so impressive if he meets anyone who knows enough to call him out on his lies. For example, most mass shootings have NOT taken place in gun free zones. Maybe he was thinking about that imaginary Popeye’s that he lied about earlier.

  53. Imam Qadriyyah Ali October 29, 2015 at 2:28 am

that was wonderful and hard to watch … when he said “its a level of sophistication you learn from the streets” i was like man he is awesome … his demeanor is impeccable … his patience on fleek … Wolf forgot how to be a journalist cause that was less of an interview and more of a repetitively annoying unsolved math problem … some one get that man a calculator

  54. Spurwing Plover July 2, 2016 at 4:04 pm

Darn narrow minded liberal journalists need a lesson on the U.S. Constitution they never learned from their leftists run schools of journalism they attended and certianly Big Bad Wold Blitzer is still in Kintergarten
