This is sad and pathetic. Or just your average day for liberal trolls. A cafe operator at Wilfrid Laurier University posted a snarky job listing on Facebook. He's now had his contract terminated by the Wilfrid Laurier Graduate Students’ Association for having a sense of humor. Wait, lemme rephrase. His contract was terminated because liberal snowflakes can't take a joke and called for his scalp.

“He’s essentially been thrown out into the cold two weeks before Christmas, for what was at worst an error of judgement on his part.”

Still unclear are the fates of the approximately 10 people who worked for Dosman and the space used for the café.

The president of the Graduate Students’ Association initially agreed to an interview for this story, but later cancelled it.

Score another one for outrage culture (see Family Accuses Santa of “Fat Shaming!” and Millennials Outraged Over… Sitcom Mocking Millennial Outrage). The fallout, of course, includes ten people who lost their jobs, students who lost their hangout place, and the "adults" at GSA who've proven themselves to be intolerant booger bunnies of the highest order of suck. The guy posted a joke. An adult, or what used to be considered an "adult," who didn't find the post amusing, would scoff and move on with his or her life. What with that adult having other things going on in his or her life. Like employment, household responsibilities, and not being a pathetic wuss running for tissues.

But welcome to 2016. Where one's value is measured by the size of tears one sheds. Exuding the outrageous feels counts more toward your humanity than actually behaving like an adult human. Can't take a joke? Move on with your life. Don't try to ruin someone's life because you were born without a sense of humor. Rational, fully functioning adults with a thimble of reason understood the point of the job posting was to be shared for its humor. Not to make you believe slavery was making a fashionable comeback.

Then again, rational people don't seem to be going to college.
