There are two major types of people in the world: meat eaters and people who hate themselves. We call them “vegans.” If social justice were a diet, it would be veganism. The two tend to go hand in limp-wristed hand (refer back to “people who hate themselves”). Needless to say, veganism is the pits. It has a pattern of killing people (see Famous Anti-Meat Vegan Who Climbed Mt. Everest? Yep, She Died…) for the sake of saving the animals who are raised to feed people. Also, no bacon? Not sure which is worse.
Speaking of which, when this mom tested her vegan diet on her baby? It didn’t turn out well…
The 33-year-old woman from western Pennsylvania, Elizabeth Hawk, began feeding her 11-month-old child sparse meals of only fruits and nuts. The boy developed… a severe rash. He seemed to have lost control of his motor skills, rendering his hands useless. [His mother] countered allergies were the reason for his apparent malaise, not the diet.
A physician said the lack of nutritious food caused a “failure to thrive.” Malnourishment had hindered the boy’s ability to develop, and ignoring the skin condition could have led to septic shock.
Elizabeth Hawk faces charges of child endangerment. The young boy now lives with his father… [and] is “doing great” and has “completely turned around.”
Vegans, answer me this – but eat some tofu first, you’ll need the energy – if veganism is so good for you, why does it send people to the hospital? In this case, a tiny person. A tiny person who cannot speak up and say “I really need protein for my developing brain and muscles.” A tiny person who cannot tell his hippy mother “I need the amino acids from meat to grow.”
I hate people.
The problem? Vegans tout their lifestyle as healthy, meanwhile said lifestyle also tends to lead to starvation (see Hospital Rescues Starving Baby From Vegan Parents…). For instance, this gal thought she was feeding her baby a healthy diet. With the bonus of saving the animals. But turns out fruit and nuts aren’t a good diet for baby humans, unlike baby squirrels. I know, I know, easy to confuse the two when you’re a vegan. Lack of protein slowing the brain and all.
Look, what “food” somebody eats is their own business. Even if said “food” tastes, looks like, and has the nutritional value of cardboard. Even if they act like a fecal patty while eating that “food” (see If Meat-Eaters Acted like Pompous Vegans). Because freedom and whatnot. But slowly starving a child while you force him to take part in your herbivore ways? So you can save the pig or the cow? Child abuse.
Veganism. It’s the worst. But don’t take my word for it, listen to somebody who knows firsthand. A former vegan.
